The empty birdcages were suspended across one of the laneways. Birdsong was being played over speakers. It was an entrancing sight/sound.

This is an old vacant house in Powell. Ohio. Originally a farmhouse, it recently was home to a florist shop, but it's been empty for a while. Looks like it still has the original (or at least very old) wood siding and tin roof.
There used to be two posters here. Harry Potter and Thunderbirds but I took them down to put up a poster of Eragon.
That then fell down so now there is an empty space. Currently deciding on what to put there...
With the altitude meter stuck far above 4 kilometres, travelling around Tajikistans high plains is continually accompanied by a pounding headache. Nevertheless, these remote highlands will brighten your mood. In hours of travelling you'll only encounters a couple of yurts (surrounded by goats or yaks).
With a dusty trail in the mirror, surrounding emptiness on such great heights, while still looking at high peaks, you will get that travel sparks which you will remember every time you get bored behind your desk back home.
After the lamentable incident that took place the other day the resulted in the senseless loss of innocent lives here in Manila, the whole Filipino community is left shocked and dismayed and feeling empty. The whole world is treating them as if they were the one who caused this unfortunate event. I hope that in time, healing will take place and the world will realize that this is a singular act of a singular person compounded by the mismanaged response of the government and law enforcers. It is truly sad and un-excusable but it is not a representation of what the Philippines truly is.

Starting in October 2012, the second ARM Mobile Facility (AMF2) was deployed on the Horizon Lines cargo ship Spirit for the year-long Marine ARM GPCI1 Investigation of Clouds (MAGIC) campaign, traveling between Los Angeles, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii. The purpose of the deployment was to understand and parameterize clouds, precipitation, aerosols and radiation, and the interactions among them.
