Explanation: This is the super busy highway..I94. What I did was play around with a new neutral density filter for the Canon. Basically it reduced the light going through the lens. And with the cars speeding by, they didn't have time to show up in the photo. So it gives the effect of being an empty highway.

This was one of the smallest houses I've ever been inside. The rooms were so small it was difficult to photograph. Finding a suitable angle for photographs like this was near impossible. There were many things left inside, old mattresses, dishes, a stove, at least one sofa, some lounge chairs, a refrigerator. I find it ironic that I should choose to photograph the only empty room.
Empty moorings in Donaghadee Harbour, Northern Ireland. The winter season is not a great time to leave your boat on a mooring as occasional gales would make it a bad insurance risk.

DB Schenker Rail (UK) Ltd's class 66 (JT42CWR) number 66129 in English, Welsh and Scottish Railway maroon livery with zigzag gold band, large number and EWS logo is photographed working 4E26 from Dollands Moor sidings to Scunthorpe Redbourne sidings on 10 October 2014. This service returns empty FIA 'Multifret' twin intermodal flat wagons used to transport steel for export in billet form from Tata Steels Scunthorpe complex on South Humberside in Lincolnshire (see Andy Pictons photo) to a freight yard at Ebange in Eastern France via Dollands Moor and Calais Fréthun through the Channel Tunnel (click here for the route ). Laurent Knop photographed Euro Cargo Rail's loco number E 186-317 at Valenciennes (Nord - department 59) hauling loaded wagons working from Calais Fréthun to Ebange on 2 April 2014. Nicolas Tomaszewski also videoed a loaded train passing Beuvrages hauled by Euro Cargo Rail's E186 162-4. Once in Ebange the steel is used at Tata's Hayange rail mill to produce rail for SNCF's LGV Est européenne construction programme to extend the French high-speed rail network. 66129 (works number 968702-129) was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division, London, Ontario, Canada in 1998 and unloaded from the Heavy Lift Ship MV "Gajah Borneo" at Newport Docks on 18 July 1999.

On the 4th January 2026 the coaster 'Alexander' (2009) awaits orders in Tor Bay having arrived empty from Londonderry.
I came here to walk yesterday evening. This is the pier in St Petersburg Florida which is empty while the planners decide how to fix it up. In the meantime it's still a great place to walk or ride with the cool breeze of the bay on a hot afternoon. I love empty open places in the middle of a busy city. A few steps away from the noise and you have a place of quiet and solitude.
A helicopter empties water from its tank onto burning dry vegetation including sagebrush. These plants burn like creosote and in wind the flames can spread quickly. It will soon return to Osoyoos Lake to draw more water through a giant straw. All photos were taken from a safe distance with long lenses. No drones were used. Empied my bag because this morning in the bus when i drove around a very bendy roundabout my coke fell over and even though it landed in a vertical position, was upside down and succeeding in making the bottom of my bag drink nearly the whole can, so I decided to snap this premature baby, usually get loads more than this out of a bag, got the bag before this one to empty and shoot but it'll have to wait i get a day off, and hopefully before the hot weather comes
Keep most of my stuff in my pockets anyway
