The vacant Bradlees Store on Route 206 in Bordentown, New Jersey. The store closed in March of 2001 with the rest of the chain due to bankruptcy.

In South Australian pubs and clubs, the term "schooner" refers to a glass with a volume of 285 mL (10 imp. fl. oz., or half an imperial pint, pre-metrication).
Empty shops and business premises are a common sight on UK High Streets, but many vacancies are relatively short lived - the shops are soon in use again although in these difficult times, the new business only have a limited life.
This collection portrays retail outlets that have been empty long-term, some for many years. In the past, all these have housed thriving businesses. Yet now, for some reason, they are empty and some are falling into a state of disrepair and dilapidation.
Each has its own story to tell. Some are completely empty, others seem to have stopped trading suddenly and appear like the Marie-Celeste, still with stock in the windows. In many cases, we can tell easily from the faded signage what business last operated from the shop. Others are a complete mystery with faded blinds or shutters and all signs removed.
Mỹ Tho is the capital city, center of economics, education and technology of Tiền Giang Province, located in the Mekong Delta region of South Vietnam. The Mekong Delta has recently been dubbed as a biological treasure trove. Over 10,000 new species have been discovered in previously unexplored areas of Mekong Delta, including a species of rat thought to be extinct.

Empty Lot is a large geometric sculpture created using scaffolding, a grid of triangular wooden planters, and soil collected from parks across London including Peckham, Haringey and Westminster. Nothing will be planted in the soil, but it will be lit by lamps and watered throughout the six month display. The unpredictable nature of the work, which may grow and change from one week to the next, provokes questions about the city and nature, as well as wider ideas of chance, change, and hope.

I bought this canister set at a yard sale because of the beautiful red color and medallion on the front. They sit empty. Why, I just don't know.
