So here's how obsessed I am.
My eyes opened up at 7:15 this morning. I was tired, went to bed late. Its Sunday, I could sleep in. Glance out the window - OMG, FOG! Glorious foggy goodness right outside. I said to myself, there is no way I'm going outside now, I'll just sleep.
So of course I immediately jumped out of bed, threw on some clothes and a coat, grabbed the camera and spent the next 1 1/2 hours out there. Clicked over 300 times.

The large canvas sack in the foreground is used to transport the bits and pieces garnered from all parts of the city to be sold at the Sunday market in Dolapdere. On any day of the week, people can be seen pushing these huge and heavy canvas sacks around istanbul, weaving through the traffic or negotiating various levels and obstacles as they head for locations like this and others. The bag now stands empty, its contents up for grabs on the surrounding streets.

This wooden wall — formed one side of what looked like an empty building down in Cape May's back bay area. I was drawn to the cool wood grains, textures and simple contrasts and symmetry.

High St Northcote is one of the most bustling streets in Melbourne. With cafes, bars, shops, restaurants and churches it has a buzz going every day of the year, except Christmas. For a few hours on Christmas morning the street is empty, save those cars left from Christmas Eve revelry. Then, everything returns to normal until next year.

Sometimes, I feel like my words are meaningless.
Why?
No one will ever know YOU the way you know yourself. No matter how much someone relate to your words, they're never ever going to understand what it feels like for you...

Since taking up full-frame photography, I have found the Canon 35mm F2.0 IS USM to be a great all purpose lens. View other shots taken with this lens here.
There is an empty frame that hangs on the wall of my spare bedroom, aka. the "art" room. Why is it empty? Because it is a constant reminder that it is up to me to create something to put in it. Silly? Probably, but it works. :O)
