A beautiful branch design texture was embossed on a piece of sterling silver which was melted from my scraps, then passed through the rolling mill many times to become thinner.
A lovely light blue chalcedony cabochon was placed at the center.
The entire piece was oxidized, selectively hand polished and falls from a 16inc sterling silver ball chain.
A very comfortable, perfect for everyday wear pendant...

The silver plate has a thickness of 0.8mm. It has been passed 3 times through the press and annealed each time. After the third time the embossed depth is 8 mm.
There it was, hidden away, a rather simple but aesthetically embossed typography of the name of the tube station. I had to snap it.

Now I got into heat embossing. Swap-bot is a terrible influence, I swear!
So I used the rubber stamp I made and used silver glitter embossing powder and made this. I already used it but yea, I like it.
Had some extra yellow and orange fondant, thought I'd try cookies. Sugar cookies with buttercream and embossed fondant.
Boston, Massachusetts, USA - September 29, 2010 - Created by Northeastern University engineering students, the Braille embosser uses an inkjet printer and a pin pack to print Braille letters one at a time. Compared to traditional $2,000 printers, this prototype can be manufactured for $200, sacrificing print speed for affordability. The team of students was recently awarded $10,000 from the National Braille Press. Pictured are engineering student Jeff Witkowski (right) and professor Greg Kowalski (left). PHOTO: Mary Knox Merrill

Embossed Leaves Socks
Pattern: designed by Mona Schmidt, Winter 2005 issue of IK
Dates: Began 9/23/06-Finished 9/30/06
Yarn: Louet Gems Merino-color Shamrock, 2 skeins
Needles: I started off wanting to try knitting with one long circular, on a 0 Addi turbo, but it was really slow going for me with constantly moving the stitches around, so I switched back to what I'm used too, Brittany 5" DPN size 1.
Details: Although the knitting with one long circular wasn't my thing, I did learn how to use the 1x1 rib cast-on which left a very neat edge to the top of the sock. However, I did notice that it is less stretchy than my usual long tail cast-on. I also worked on knitting tighter on my needles to make guage. It was hard on my hands in the beginning, but it got better as I got further along. After making a few pair of socks with both short row heels and heel flaps, the verdict is still out on which fits better, but I think I'm leaning towards the heel flaps.
