A shrouded apartment building nearing its completion in Katendrecht, on the part of the quarter where once the Hanno container terminal was located.
I was by the way very pleasantly surprised here by the resolving power of the old Tamron zoom lens, once ('90s) designed for analog dSLR's.
This is number 292 of Zwart/Wit and of course 278 of Urban frontiers.

These three, which are all of driftwood washed up on the beaches, are the first in a series of some of the stuff that I love to look at in detail, as I wander around the coastal habitats I visit near home. As I can't go there just now, I've been trawling my archives, and (I hope) they are all images that I haven't posted before.
Ramsau-Hintersee
Framed by steeply towering peaks and embedded in the legendary magic forest, the idyllic Hintersee lies in the Bavarian mountaineering village of Ramsau.
Leake Street Tunnel is one of London’s coolest street art spots. Tucked away underneath Waterloo station, it’s an ever-changing canvas of colourful murals.
Leake Street graffiti tunnel is one of London’s not-so-hidden gems. This 300 metre tunnel is the city’s largest legal wall and has been a bastion of London’s street art scene since 2008.
Leake Street Tunnel wasn’t always a legal wall. Before 2008 it was just a dank and grimy tunnel squirreled beneath Kings Cross Station.
That all changed when British street art superstar Banksy (yes, the Banksy) decided to hold a street art festival called Cans Festival down in the tunnel.
Banksy invited the biggest and brightest names on the international street art scene to come down and put up a piece of work in the tunnel. And that was it – Leake Street was no longer dank and grimy, but instead a bold, colourful and cool place where artists could showcase their work.
Since then, Leake Street graffiti tunnel has been flying the flag for the London street art scene. The fact that this is a legal wall means that artists can work in peace and that no two visits are ever the same.
Leake Street Tunnel is a short walk away from Waterloo Station. It takes about five minutes to walk it from the station via York Road.

The Awakening (1980) is a 72-foot (22 m) statue by J. Seward Johnson, Jr. that depicts a giant embedded in the earth, struggling to free himself. It is located at National Harbor in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States, just outside the District of Columbia. The statue consists of five separate aluminum pieces buried in the ground, giving the impression of a distressed giant attempting to free himself from the ground. The left hand and right foot barely protrude, while the bent left leg and knee jut into the air. The 17-foot (5.2 m) high right arm and hand reach farther out of the ground. The bearded face, with the mouth in mid-scream, struggles to emerge from the earth. Real estate developer Milton Peterson purchased the sculpture for over $700,000 in 2007 for installation at his new National Harbor development in Maryland. Crews removed The Awakening from Hains Point in February 2008 for its move to National Harbor. At the National Harbor development, the sculpture was installed on a specially built beach along the Potomac River. (Wikipedia)
Hillside cemetery, Issaquah, WA.
This is the base of the same tree I uploaded yesterday and it is not photoshopped.
The old headstone on the right is partially embedded in the large tree trunk. The tree must have grown slowly swallowing the stone.
Another non-starter from today's Macro Mondays' #contained theme
A slice of lemon, with a pip happily buried and looking very snug.
The colour was created using a lens filter adjustment, with a 'contrast negate' blend (whatever that is).
Because it’s embedded in a protected park, this was probably the only time we’ll have been able to enjoy urbex without any spray paint graffiti at all - so nice. Though people had carved lovebird initials in the wall moss.
