6M60, the 13:24 Seaton - Sellafield passes Corby Gates' down home semaphore on 16 October 2009 headed by 37510 and 37087.
This is an electo-mechanical signal, it has electric lights behind the semaphore spectacles and a remotely operated electric motor to raise and lower the semaphore arm.
So I recently watched The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and now I finally know the story behind my Electro minifig. Over all I thought the film itself was pretty good (though somewhat convoluted) and I enjoyed the soundtrack to the film much more than the first (I've had the Spider-Man theme in my head all day!).
All that to say, now that I have context for the Electro minifig I finally made a picture of him and I'm pretty happy with the results. :)

Where I do film development here in Ireland... the kitchen table, in an 11x14" processing tray to contain the chemistry. Pictured:
- 3x Dollar store measuring cups that have served me for 8+ years. These are the best!
- 2x Nikor dual reel tanks (1x 135, 1x 120)
- Small Kilner jars containing PC-Glycol and anhydrous sodium carbonate
- Stainless 1L and 500ml measurers I use for mixing
- Two funnels
- Adox FX-39 developer which I haven't tried yet
- Adox Adoflo
- Diafine box
- The very edge of my AP plastic development tank
- Various thermometers, some scissors, and miscellaneous film leaders
My favorite colors from awhile back :D This is a "one more" think tank to keep me in shape. Has some tricky body assembling and seems to have a little too much weight in its rear section. There is a cockpit for a single minifig in the middle of it, so more than a half of that rear section is actually an openable hatch...
Also, it is kinda part of my (nearly dead by now) Tesla Troops project.
There's not much quite like the sound of an EMD 710 on dreary winter day's mine run. In a few minutes the trio of AC motors will be shoving back to Bell County Coal, where they will load 50 top dumps.

Nice to know that 28 years later both of these engines are still with us.

Here's a cool "street level" captured by my wife *Cinnamon (thanks babe!) at last weekend's Los Gatos, Fiesta de Artes show. This Electrolux vacuum cleaner/cruiser is just one of the automotive pieces I created for and in conjunction with the Concours d Elegance at Pebble Beach. My sculptures are on exhibit at Coast Galleries Carmel & Pebble Beach locations. If any of my Flickr buddies are in the area this weekend please swing by, I'll be on site Sat & Sun.
Half past ten, Moon was setting and my lens got constantly covered with condensation. We were somewhere in the Owl Mountains, Poland and it was long way down to the car.

Long, low, and lean, the Electro 5000 features a state-of-the-art Tesla Magnetics TM88-1 hover system, powered by a revolutionary new small fission reactor that drives the magnetronic system. Quiet and reliable, the system has twice the service intervals of current hover drive systems, and all the major functions can be accessed for maintenance, diagnostics, and repair via the hinged rear quarter panels. Head to your nearest Oldsmobile dealership to test drive the Electro 5000 today!

More retro-futuristic hover insanity. Hinged rear quarters reveal detail underneath on each side. I thought that the hover mechanism up front looked like some kind of weird Tesla coils, hence the ad-copy description. Lots of fun building this one, I hope you all enjoy it!
