"je suis encore surpris par la musique qui sort de mes mains"

Ce qui renvoie à la question n°21 : quel est le groupe dont vous auriez aimé faire partie ?

Can.

Irmin Schmidt, Holger Czuckay, Michael Karoli, ... c'est vrai que mon nom accolé aux leurs, ça aurait un peu fait tache sur les affiches, mais je sens que j'étais fait pour le Krautrock.

Because a Leica M6 is both A.) much more than I can afford, and B.) a massive fixation of mine, I decided to shop around for an affordable alternative. I happened to find this little fella sitting by his lonesome on eBay.

It's a Yashica Electro 35 GS. And it cost me $6. And my identity. But more on that later.

Shipping included.

Simply put, I love it. It fits like a glove in the hand, is built like a tank (slight overstatement) and makes an endearing "thump" sound every time you push the film advance doohickey. I ran an expired roll of Kodak Gold through her/him/it and and was even more pleased to see that it had no light leaks or major flaws.

Not so pleasing is how somebody hacked into PayPal, nabbed by card number and completely drained my checking account shortly after said purchase. Which I believe makes it a "hat trick" of identity thieving. Not as entertaining.

The very nice people at my banking establishment (which was not bailed out by the federal government) took care of it all and saved the day.

Thanks, publicly traded banking establishment.

Thanks, Yashica Electro.

And the chest hair? That's for you, Burt Reynolds.

nothing like an electro metering here.

Its July 1996 we got permission to get on the roof of the Cassidy tire company to capture the Olympic Torch train with this great view going past the CNW Clinton St tower .I was very fortunate to have a friendly relationship with the owner of the building .His father worked at Electro Motive plant in La Grange IL and he loved trains . In this view is the Olympic torch car

Dammit, Max, turn around! The fight's behind you!

Alright I'm not even gonna lie, I saw Ja 3ni do this, and it struck me as genius (also if you haven't been through Ja 3ni's stream do it, there's some sweet stuff in there) but I did add a few of my own twists to it, naturally.

I think I changed up a few parts of the SinSix since last you all saw them as well but it's hot and I don't wanna go back and look.

That's it for now, cheers, gents!

The 1Q52 1046 Eastleigh East Yard to Eastleigh East Yard test train rushes past Millbrook station. With class 73's in charge the leading loco is running on its diesel engine.

The black version of the GS model. Looks much better in black, a thorough cleaning brought this one to mint condition. Unfortunately, the electric circuit is beyond repair, so it will have to be used at the default 1/500 speed, controlling exposure by changing aperture according to the "sunny 16" rule. It's a pity, as the viewfinder is exceptionally clean and the RF patch very contrasty.

Here’s Electro and Shocker requested by Madam Web. You can request any marvel characters in the comments if you want, I will make a purist CCH Verse version of the character as soon as possible.

Electro is on the left and Shocker is on the right.

I got a new figure not that long ago from Taylor (Thanks Taylor!): ASM2 Electro!

Here is his body parsed into some DC figs. Even Marvel can't defend against my DC figbarfs.

Atomic Skull: I had the head out, I had the body out... HMD's pushing made me put it together.

Batman: A pretty plain Batman. Probably been done, but I wanted to include the whole fig.

Electro Suit Batman: Coincidentally uses Electro's skin, and not suit. Electro Bat is another fig I got recently, I figured I'd try to improve him somehow.

Remember what I said about posting once a month and disappearing?

Fig comments: Still not super happy with this guy, but I think he turned out decent. The hair is supposed to mimic the spiky yellow helmet. All of the lightning effects were added with PicsArt.

Eligræsco: As a young boy, Maximillium Ditlan always dreamed of one day being worthy to lift Thor’s magic Mjolln’r. While he tried to keep a “worthy” character persistent during his childhood, he was never granted the powers of Thor. Eventually realizing he was never going to be deemed worthy, Ditlan began to dream up other methods to finally harness his hero’s magical abilities. He designed an apparatus that would attract lightning bolts and store the energy, granting him the ability to harness electricity and unleash it in devastating bursts. He began to use this power to destroy monuments devoted to the gods across Norway as acts of revenge against the gods who never granted him any of his “deserved” powers. Taking the name Eligræsco, Ditlan began to attract attention from Europe’s greatest heroes.

it`s amazing what you can do in ps

Well we warned him enough times about chewing electric cables.

But you will be pleased to know that Rusty did survive this catastrophic incident.

A quick rub down with WD 40, and he's full of beans again, which makes a change from our fish. 😂

New for 1964 from Oldsmobile is the Electro 5000! A hover car for the discriminating driver who prefers power, comfort, and luxury wrapped in a smooth, Atomic Age profile. Long, low, and lean, the Electro 5000 features a state-of-the-art Tesla Magnetics TM88-1 hover system, powered by a revolutionary new small fission reactor that drives the magnetronic system. Quiet and reliable, the system has twice the service intervals of current hover drive systems, and all the major functions can be accessed for maintenance, diagnostics, and repair via the hinged rear quarter panels. Head to your nearest Oldsmobile dealership to test drive the Electro 5000 today!

More retro-futuristic hover insanity. Hinged rear quarters reveal detail underneath on each side. I thought that the hover mechanism up front looked like some kind of weird Tesla coils, hence the ad-copy description. Lots of fun building this one, I hope you all enjoy it!

Yashica TL-Electro.

Made 1968-1974, it is the first to use an electronic exposure meter (using lights in the viewfinder).

Uses the M-42 screw mount type lens and is based off the Pentax system.
