After spending the day at Peterborough Beer Festival, I was faced with this sunset whilst waiting for my train home.

Taken along the N2 en route to Somerset West, South Africa. Shot through the car window.

A lovely bolt from a passing storm

An incredible display of power during a storm last night.

An unexpected storm came through the Tri-Cities, Washington on August 17th.

There was a very brief "storm" that blew through here on Tuesday night and the skies were pretty intense, turning a deep purple and red...

It would have been a killer sunset had I been out and about somewhere scenic enough to shoot it. However, this lightning bolt was shot right outside my driveway. I love when photo opportunities come to me, instead of me going to them! lol ;)

Location: Piltover & Zaun.

Manipulated smudgy version of a flower bouquet.

Taken at Hillarys Marina in WA around midnight with a lot of action going on. I've just realized I forgot to make this public...

North Danube Delta, Romania

Big monsoon storm rolled into the city Friday night. We tried to get to a desired location in the East Valley to compose some shots. But the front was moving so fast that it overtook us. When the pouring rain and wind eased up, I managed to get a few of it behind us.

Lens was a Tamron 01BB 24mm f/2.5.

Crazy Tuesday - theme of May 5th, 2020: light painting / light drawing

... my first try with a small LED-light (with changeable colours)

( darkening the room, tripod, mirror lock up, self-timer at 2 seconds, manual exposure and focus, holding the guitar with my left hand and using my right hand to move / wave the torch along its silhouette and then to create somewhat shambolic light drawing above it ... and again and again and again ... lol :D )

Although I had a lot of fun, I will have to give it a try again sometime to get a really decent result. But I didn't need my juggling torches and a fire extinguisher in the end (and could stay at home) - what a relief, lol

HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday, everyone : ))

Zumindest habe ich meine Jonglier-Fackeln nicht benötigt (und auch keinen Feuerlöscher) :D

Einen schönen Dienstag euch allen !!
