You’ve seen how the Ip Man Movie have sparks the growth of Wing Chun Kung Fu worldwide. Now learn how to use Wing Chun techniques using HKB Eng Chun [Black Flag Wing Chun] to achieve maximum efficiency of time, space and energy, from this Wing Chun Video.

In this Wing Chun Training video, Grand Master Kenneth Lin demonstrates how to use the HKB Wing Chun Combat Formula [Originated from late GM Kwee King Yang's teaching of Kao Kuat / 口訣] to achieve the maximum combat efficiency using the basic Wing Chun Bong Sao Technique [Bong Jiu / 膀手] both in deflecting as well as in Occupying time, becoming space and releasing an impulse energy.

Many times, in most Wing Chun mainstream lineage, focusing using offense as defense. In this video, Grand Master Kenneth Lin demonstrated how to achieve maximum efficiency using HKB Combat formula on applying that offense as defense idea.

Note: Within this video, GM Kenneth Lin made a comparison between the common use Wing Chun Bong Sao [膀手] from mainstream Wing Chun and showcase the Black Flag Wing Chun perspective of Bong Jiu / 膀手 [Bong Sao]. Please be noted that this does not mean one is better or less than another, it should be up to you to decide which fit you the most.

Black Flag Wing Chun training methodology makes it possible for you to use Wing Chun in full contact vs. Systema, vs. Taichi, vs. Taekwondo, vs. Kenpo, vs. Ninjutsu, vs. BJJ, vs. Muay Thai, vs. karate, vs. boxing, vs. any styles!

Rwanda’s Ministry of Environment, UN Environment through the Ozone Secretariat and United for Efficiency, and the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program have hosted a group of environmental experts, philanthropists, business leaders, international NGOs and government representatives to mark the adoption of the Amendment and strategies to ensure its long term success. The event took place on 28 January 2019 at the Marriott Hotel, Kigali. The event recognised the work Rwanda has done to meet its obligations under the Kigali Amendment. These efforts, which have been possible thanks to the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program and UN Environment's United for Efficiency, include conducting a market assessment, developing a national cooling strategy and minimum energy efficiency standards, and creating financial tools to support businesses to invest in efficient cooling.

Argonne National Laboratory.

Last year CEA Project Logistics were employed to assist the Royal Thai Navy in the transportation and shipping of a USD multi-million Seahawk Helicopter.

This project was executed with the upmost efficiency with all parties involved being very happy with the outcome.

Such was the professionalism of the teams at CEA and the impression they gave, the Royal Thai Navy once again employed their service and assistance on a very similar project. For this project another Seahawk helicopter was to be transported and shipped to Australia for maintenance and repairs.

CEA teams, Royal Thai Navy personnel and representatives from the maintenance company convened at Utapao Airport in Rayong province Thailand to begin the project. As with all projects CEA conduct a tool box talk was given to the teams to explain the lift and rigging plan for the day. Rigging equipment was then prepared while another team set up a safe exclusion barricade for the operational activities.

Personnel from the Royal Thai Navy carefully moved the valuable cargo into position for the lift. Two Modular spreader bars were assembled with the required nylon slings attached, these were then attached to the waiting 55 T mobile crane. The slings and shackles were attached to the designated lift points on the Seahawk, with the fuselage of the helicopter being protected by use of sling pads. Chain blocks were used to make precise alterations to the lift to ensure that the helicopter lifted level.

As the helicopter rose form the ground a Drop-Deck Air Ride trailer was placed underneath, the Seahawk was lowered on to the trailer and secured in her slots. All slings and shackles were carefully removed and the rigging team went to action securely lashing down the helicopter readying her for the journey to CEA HQ in Laem Chabang.

Upon arrival at CEA the Seahawk was transported to one of their main warehouses and removed from the trailer. After all checks were complete a CEA Shrink Wrap team set to work enveloping the whole helicopter in an industrial grade shrink wrap that will protect the Seahawk from the corrosive effects the elements can produce during transportation.

The Aircraft was transported again on the Drop-Deck Air Ride Trailer to Laem Chabang Port where a Mafi Trailer was awaiting. Prior to loading the Mafi was thoroughly cleaned and sprayed with Cilsin 25 to negate any issues with Australian DAFF/AQIS authorities upon arrival. As the fore wheels were wider than the Mafi a steel plate extension was fabricated by the CEA team for a safe and secure load. The Aircraft was safely loaded onto the Mafi and professionally lashed by CEA under the close supervision of a 3rd party marine surveyor.

After she was loaded a tug master pushed the Mafi and aircraft into place on the RoRo vessel where it was safely secured for the transit to Australia. Hats off to the CEA team who once again handled another multi-million USD shipment without incident.

Media Release

Federal Conservatives and Ontario Green Party recognize the

importance of energy efficiency

(Ottawa, September 16, 2011) NAIMA Canada applauds the Government of

Canada's announcement to invest $78 million over the next two years

to increase the energy efficiency of homes across the country.

The ecoENERGY initiatives, announced by Minister of Natural Resources

Joe Oliver, support job creation while helping Canadians save money

by reducing the amount of energy needed to heat and cool their homes.

Similarly, NAIMA Canada commends the Green Party of Ontario's

proposed Green Building Program. Announced recently by Party leader

Mike Schreiner, it would allocate $1.6 billion in refundable tax

credits to assist home owners and businesses with energy efficiency

and building upgrades. The Program is estimated to create 20,000 jobs.

Increasingly, politicians are becoming aware that energy efficiency

is a pocket book issue - enhanced energy efficiency means more

savings for consumers. As energy prices rise, the only way to ensure

lower utility bills it to consume less energy.

A highlight of the Green Party's Green Building Program is the

requirement of home energy audits. Audits allow home buyers, renters

or business owners to know the real costs of potential energy bills

for their properties. In such large purchases, this type of

information will inform consumers so they can choose what is best for

their situation.

"Activity in the energy efficiency sector saves money through lower

energy bills and creates jobs, including home energy auditors, local

contractors and installers, and insulation manufacturers," continued

Koch. "These are local, skilled jobs that lead to lower greenhouse

gas emissions and stable and strengthened local economies."

"Supporting a plan that creates jobs and saves Canadians money is

easy," continued Koch. "Other jurisdictions, including the United

States through President Obama, have identified that energy

efficiency is the next growth industry. I commend Minister Oliver on

his leadership in carrying forward this initiative."

If you are designing or building a multifamily project, why not specify or build with a material that can save the design professional, the builder, and the developer time and money?

I was involved with the Sarann Knight project, which is a four-story apartment complex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The developer, Community Development Programs Center of Nevada (CDPCN) used our 6” SIPs for all of the exterior walls on all four levels. And all of these SIP walls are load bearing and self-supporting.

• SIPs reduce energy consumption

• Easier to become Energy Star Compliant

• Reduced construction time

• Reduced job site waste and dumpster removal

• End up with a durable, long-lasting building

CDPCN owns and operates this apartment complex; therefore, the heating and cooling bills are paid by the developer. Heating and cooling costs constitute a significant portion of the operating budget in the hot Las Vegas climate…one of the reasons CDPCN chose to build with energy-efficient SIPs! Building on the efficiency of the R-23 SIP walls, CDPCN specified low emissivity (low-e) windows to further reduce solar heat gain, and used tankless water heaters. By using Premier SIPs and these other energy-efficient measures, CDPCN expect to save about 60% on their heating and cooling costs.

ENERGY STAR did not require a blower door test because they used SIPs…Sarann Knight project automatically surpassed the ENERGY STAR certification.

Cycle time savings were also a factor on this project. The developer believes that SIPs durability is something else to consider. This project is actually the third project that I have worked on with CDPCN. The other two were a 58 single home development (Daisy Lee Homes), and a 240 unit senior housing project (Senator Richard Bryan Senior Apartments) . They are now realizing reduced call-backs for things like stucco cracking because their SIP walls are straighter and stronger than a typical stick framed wall.
