Photo prise avec un Nikon D70 + 18-70 mm AF-S DX sur trépied, le 27/07/2005.

Taken with a Nikon D70 on a tripod on July 27th 2005.

As lightnings were illuminating the sky, I managed to get away from my wife and newly born daughter for a few minutes and setup my tripod in our backyard.

As my wife was afraid of the storm, I had to quickly set my Nikon D70 to manual metering, focussed manually to infinity and took 1 or 2 seconds shots for 3 minutes.

I managed to get 6 images out of 25 shots.

Note: that was my first attempt at capturing lightnings...

Hier soir, gros orage sur Toulouse. Éclairs et tonnerres. Malgré mon manque d'expérience, j'ai réussi à prendre quelques jolis effets de lumières et d'éclairs.

Yesterday, we treated ourselves to some fancy-smancy, expensive eclairs from Chez Claire. We got bitter dark chocolate, raspberry and pistache. The pistache flavoured one was by far the best.

They're 4,50€ a piece which is pretty pricey for an eclair. So these eclairs are best for special occasions IMO.
