NOT ALL are chocolate eggs, but only decorative, LOL
Do not be fooled!
They came in a fancy little organza bag which totally seduced me.

Jamie and I decided to host Easter this year, so I wanted to make some centerpieces. I'm proud of them. :)
Seems the time to post the "cute Easter bunny" shot. I took this a while ago whilst out walking my dog. It had just been mauled by another dog, luckily we rescued it, so hopefully it lived to see another day.
Curious as to what the significance of rabbits at Easter was, so I googled it. Something to do with fertility and the moon etc, to be honest it lost me. But one little snippet I learnt, rabbits are born with their eyes open. Did you know that? Nah, me neither.

Violet got the hang of hunting for Easter eggs right away! She got the first seven (of ten) without any hints - four of which she finds in this video.
(You might notice that she wasn't very careful about putting the eggs in the basket. They're real eggs, and you can kind of hear them cracking. Fortunately, they were hardboiled.)

Bishop David Walkowiak celebrated Mass for the Easter Vigil in the Holy Night at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew on April 20. The Easter Vigil includes the blessing of the Easter fire, a ceremony in which the Easter candle is lit from a fire on the Piazza Secchia outside the cathedral. Parish communities throughout the diocese, including the cathedral, welcome new members of the Church during this Mass. Individuals who have completed their preparation are baptized and/or received into full communion with the Church.
