Tikki has finished her "Friskies Party Treats" Easter yum, and would like some more, please. Happy Caturday theme 11 April 2020 - Easter Weekend. After much consideration - even though this is not the best photo of Tikki from a quality photography perspective, it a sentimental fave. Look how cute with the little tongue! Look how obliging she was to pose even w inducement of (now consumed) treats. Look how well the composition works as an Easter Egg! Happy Easter to All. Just spent a pretty morning and afternoon in Tampa, Florida. We visited the Aquarium there and I had fun putting the high ISO to work there. Really enjoyed the shark tank here where the Easter Bunny made an appearance! Such a blast seeing the kids enjoy this.
Of course, there was another diver behind the Bunny with the stun stick ... would not work well if all of a sudden the sharks there decided the Easter Bunny might taste like chicken :))
Back to visiting with family and exploring around Florida. Will be checking in when I can.

In the evening before Easter, a large fire is lit in many villages in Germany. People gather by the fire and celebrate.

A lovely Easter stay down at my daughters brought a few opportunities to get out somewhere different with the camera.
I have tried on a couple of previous occasions to get a sunset shot of the Windmill at Llancayo in the Usk Valley, but never had much luck with the weather and I have never come away with anything I like from here.
I took this opportunistic shot having had a walk around the Iron Age Hillfort at nearby Coed y Bwnydd in search of a bluebell shot. Sadly the Bluebells were still in their early stages, but on my drive back down to the Valley, I saw the moody clouds and the Llancayo Windmill lit by the spring sunshine. So I stopped and took this telephoto shot, which looked pretty good on the back of the camera.
The Mill here is now a holiday let having been fully refurbished. It has an interesting history having been built back in the early 1800's, but was destroyed by a fire in 1830. It looked impressive in its white coat and the sails are fully restored too.
Happy Easter everyone. Magnificent stained glass windows in Shrone Church, Co. Kerry. Today Ireland commemorates the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising so I thought the title was appropriate. www.ireland.ie/history HSS & HWW!

People spend hours making these intricate designs on the street only to have them destroyed when religious parades go by. Once the parades have passed by, they immediately begin to create another design for the same thing to happen all over again.
Right in time for Easter the first tulip is flowering in the garden. More are supposed to follow if the rather wintry weather which we expect next week doesn't finish them off before they have a chance to open their buds.
I can't tell you, if this bunny will bring you some colourful Easter eggs. Alone, sheltered by the high grass it could stay there until Corona passed by.
So, if you wait, it could be better to stay at home, waiting for our tiny friend!

Easter eggs painted by generations of family. A metal stylus (looks like a pen) is dipped into the hot beeswax, and the design is etched on the egg shell. For each color, a separate design is etched, then the egg is dipped into dye. So if you have 5 colors, you have to etch, dip, and dye 5 rimes.

This logging truck passed our house in the middle of the night, and in the middle of a snowstorm. I had to pull myself together, put on some boots and take a few pictures of it picking up its load. The next day the snow was gone and it was 14 degrees (57 degrees F). Spring can really hang you out the most.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter (I've been waiting since last July to upload this photo) HeOM too!
Happy Easter everyone! This bunny was one of a pair I found yesterday, but I went back this morning with an Easter photo in mind.
Spending time with beloved people is always wonderful, but in times of Corona it is a gift. Today Easter will passing by and I thinking about the meaning of Easter, but,..., no imaging to miss one of friends or one of my beloved family is horrible. And the hope to see as again, somewhere, our souls, after our death, can't help me really.
So let me thank for a wonderful time, together, in peace and with healthy!

Easter would not be Easter without some Dafodils in our lives. These were seen at Pensthorpe Natural Park in North Norfolk
As I attempted to make a quick getaway, I told these little guys that the "Easter Bunny" (me) was going away for the Easter weekend. I thought I was clear!? Next thing you know, they packed their little bunny-bags, grabbed the eggs and came hopping down the hallway!! This wasn't the escape I had imagined, but if you know me, you know I love bunnies. How could I resist? Should make for an interesting weekend! Happy Easter everyone! ♥
