This was taken a few months ago during Easter weekend. The kids went on an egg hunt at church. And because we live in the Pacific Northwest, this is how the egg hunt looks and feels: wet! My youngest toughed it though, gathering as many eggs as his chubby little hands can hold on to.

A 2000 year old story. The in focus cross is made from nails from Coventry cathedral destroyed by bombs in WW2.
I'm hoping the won't be a WW3 but we need politicians who don't want to grab their neighbours land :(

The Easter Egg history is to resemble the empty tomb of Jesus because the egg resembles the shape of the stone covering the tomb where Jesus's body lay. The hatching egg resembles when Jesus rose from the grave; death.

Even though I do not like the kitschy easter decoration (which my mom loves) you can imagine how enthusiastic was I when I saw these ladybug´s eggs :-D
