Years ago the local mall used to have an Easter Bunny Land this time of year with a train for the little kids to ride. The part of me that will always be five years old still wishes that a land of plush bunnies could be real, so this year, the Lab did its best to make that wish come true on a tiny scale.

Depois de tanto querer resistir às troquinhas maravilhosas que estão a decorrer (ou em iniciações), eis que desisti de resistir!:o)

Happy Easter all :)
The furries convinced Bluebell to take them for a ride in the bunny cart... to be fair she didn't take much convincing when she remembered her roller skates!

Instead of coloring Easter eggs this year, I decided to switch it up a little. I gave these strawberries a white chocolate bath and sprinkled them with colorful spring sugar. I might just have a new Easter tradition!

A 2000 year old story. The in focus cross is made from nails from Coventry cathedral destroyed by bombs in WW2.
I'm hoping the won't be a WW3 but we need politicians who don't want to grab their neighbours land :(
Happy Easter to you if you are in a situation to enjoy it.

Candy eggs are a link back to the actual origin of Easter, which was an ancient pagan religion. A woman named Ishtar was worshipped as a goddess and that's where the word Easter and the bunnies and eggs came from. She told people that she descended from heaven in an egg, and her son (who was worshipped as a god) liked rabbits. Also it was a fertility cult (worshipping sex) so the bunnies and eggs were also fertility symbols, since eggs are a result of chickens and roosters mating, and bunnies are known to mate a LOT. There are those who try to give these things a Christian meaning, but they have nothing to do with the resurrection of Christ. The Roman Catholic church blended some pagan beliefs and traditions into their religion around 300 AD, and for a long time Protestants did not participate in these things, but then they were gradually accepted by many Protestants, and of course today a lot of people who don't even consider themselves Christians celebrate Easter, thinking the eggs and bunnies have some kind of spiritual meaning in Christianity
Happy Easter!
