Happy Easter to all my flickr friends. My little easter presents just arrieve in time. I actually got it a few days earlier but was not able to take a picture. I was lucky enough to win this beautiful AFTERNOON SUIT . I got outbid twice but as they say 3rd time is the charm. It's a silkstone gold label and a club exclusive. Mint and complete just how I like it. The seller was nice enough to include the COA !!!;-D!!!

This unsigned postcard was sent to Miss Lucy Leurquin (sp?) of Breamer [sic], Washington. The April 17th, 1909 postmark is for Bremer, Washington. There does not appear to be a post office, or much of anything, in Bremer today.
The message on the card is "I wish you a Happy Easter. Good bye. _ _ _ _ _ _"

This background was last minute, well the brick part! I had run out of the scrapbook paper and kept forgetting to get more. The mixed media kit I bought had a sand texture paste, and I had a brick stencil. The paste dried clear, so I used one coat of gesso, let that dry and dry brushed Camel acrylic paint and wiped it with a wet wipe for a distressed look. I tried to blend the paint with the paper for a seamless blend, I think it worked!
Will be somewhat busy the next few days. So, posting this somewhat early ...
Would like to wish everyone Happy Easter and at the same time would like to dedicate this 'composition' to Robin Scholz and Yara Yagi, hoping both of u will never ever get tired of these pesky wabbits ... :-)

At Ethiopian Easter, people who can afford it, slaughter an ox. After 2 months of veganist fasting the Easter menu consists of mainly meat ! This bloody scene gets something magical in the dark..
After the morning snow melted it was time to photograph the spring flowers. Hard to believe this and the previous image were taken the same day... The flowers are golden currant.
So here is my annual Easter picture, this year with sunshine and no snow :D
It's a long weekend here in Germany, Friday and Monday is a day off. I wish you all a Happy Easter! :-)

Bandit's impression of the Easter bunny. I took a whole series of the dogs, this being the first. He wasn't thrilled with the ears and made this face.
My Easter tulips have another shot at showing off their beauty - this time in decay. The petals remind me of a bow. I would have loved more light, but I was afraid if I moved them away from the window the petals would fall!
