Spring is on its way but today NYC is a rainy mess!!

It has been said that the lake is 'turning over'....A term used when the ice sinks to the bottom of the lake and the lake water 'turns over' and becomes the lake we know, fish in, swim in, etc. The ice on lac la hache is usually 2 to 3 feet thick...After the ice sinks, (Usually the way for Lac la hache), they say many huge fish are either seen or caught....Until the lake 'turns over'. . I think the lake was 'turning over' the morning I took these photos.

I don't think she was anticipating my stepping out from that side ...
