A close look at some lovely snowdrops which never fail to bloom in our garden in early spring. Snowdrops symbolise sympathy and consolation. Because it's the first flower to bloom at the end of winter and the beginning of spring, it also symbolises hope.
This is dedicated to all those who are suffering in any way, there are so many people who really, really need help and hope now, for so many reasons. We have only to listen or read the news, so soon to be replaced by more 'news'. I've attempted many different versions of this image, but this is the one I like the best - I hope you do too ! I really appreciate your views and comments, and of course your faves. Thank you all for looking !

A tattered Euphorbia welcomes the spring in my garden. A stalwart survivor of winter.

It's happening! I'm seeing hints of green and swelling of buds on my walk which makes my heart sing.

Although this shot of the tulips at Tulip Town was taken fairly early on in the season, I like the shot of the barn and mountains in the background. This, of course, is taken from my archives five years ago in 2017. How I miss not being able to be there this year! Hope you enjoy!

"I believe in process. I believe in four seasons. I believe that winter's tough, but spring's coming. I believe that there's a growing season. And I think that you realize that in life, you grow. You get better." - Steve Sutherland
Well, one would hope ;-)
Sunset at Hangman's tree, from early spring, where the cold lasted long enough to leave the trees with no leaves, and able to view the sunset right through them.
Hope everyone is having a great week. Have a wonderful Wednesday, my friends

The ice on Lake Hibara begins to thaw and the fishing hut is withdrawn due to danger. This is the last scene of the fishing hut this year. It was mainly used for smelt fishing.
Come along for a leisurely stroll through the paths of the cactus gardens of the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. It is early spring here with the trees leafing and cactus buds forming.

... early spring, red buds swollen in the trees, with green growing in the pasture, and rain arriving late in the day ...
Richard Gere on the barley plantation (on the upper field) enjoying the splendid sunny day . It looks the early spring and the temperatures are very pleasant.
Not known for dramatic mountains or tumbling waterfalls, but it's where I live and I don't mind too much ! Spring is wonderful here, and these cows are certainly enjoying the warmer, lighter days. We're all so glad Spring is here at last ! Let's rejoice ! Sure, we'll have more rain ... but that's what makes our island green.

I hope you like it ! Can't think of any music at present, as our new, beautiful dog is taking up a lot of my time and mind. Hope you don't mind ... !!
