The Maumee River, a few miutes after sunrise, March 25, 2018. I enjoy the muted tones of the early morning.
What to do on a gray and rainy day off? Dress up in rain gear, go for a walk and take a few pictures....my day is now complete :] This was a distant shot. The eagle was sitting on the remains of an old ship wreck that has found its resting place close to my home.

It has been said that the lake is 'turning over'....A term used when the ice sinks to the bottom of the lake and the lake water 'turns over' and becomes the lake we know, fish in, swim in, etc. The ice on lac la hache is usually 2 to 3 feet thick...After the ice sinks, (Usually the way for Lac la hache), they say many huge fish are either seen or caught....Until the lake 'turns over'. . I think the lake was 'turning over' the morning I took these photos.
