“Then she [The Star Child] waited, marshaling her thoughts and brooding over her still untested powers. For though she was master of the world, she was not quite sure what to do next. But she would think of something.” Arthur C. Clarke (gender changed in quote)

"Inflatable pool full of dad's hot air, I was three years old splashin' everywhere And so began my love affair with water. On a river bank with all my friends. A big old rope tied to a limb, And you're a big old wuss if you don't jump in the water. And when that summer sun starts to beatin' down and you don't know what to do. Grab your swimming trunks, ice up that old Igloo, and drive until the map turns blue.......All you really need this time of year Is a pair of shades and ice cold beer. And a place to sit somewhere near water. " Love affair with Water

I don't often dive into HDR much anymore, but this building lended itself to it. I spent more time on this than other HDR I have done in the past. {9 bracketed shots, RAW darkroom enhancement to each, copy original and paste as separate layer, smart sharpen, change opacity, set to "multiply", created another layer with "normal" exposure shot (prevent some "blow out" in windows/trees), layer mask, erase all but windows on normal, some doge and burn, "surgical" blur & desaturate, lots of patience and then some other things... }
I added a lot of dynamic lighting (HDR)!

The sketches very often executed in such a way further are drawn in the graphic editor as it would be on a canvas a brush. Plug-ins and filters are not used.
Short story (in russian):
As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.
The photo was taken using the camera App ProCamera for iPhone. The original image can be found below.
First of all I used the app Dynamic Light to edit the image. This was done by applying the Realistic Sky preset to the image. I then used ShockMyPic to add a little drama to the image. Finally I used the app PhotoToaster to crop and straighten the image. I then applied a Warm filter, the Vibrant FX, the Big Burst Vignette and the Old Paper Texture to the image. No frame today as the Big Burst Vignette seemed to help highlight the image.
The original photo was taken this evening in Coventry at the Showcase Cinema. The image is of the film cutout advert for this Summers big Blockbuster film 'The Lone Ranger'. The film does not get released in the UK for another couple of weeks but I was lucky enough to get Two tickets for a preview screening of it. It was a great film with loads of action and some really stand out funny moments in it. Johnny Depp was brilliant as the quirky Tonto. Will most definitely be watching it again very soon.

Frankly, this shot, minus the dynamic light process, is considered by Flickr to be my absolute least interesting photo in the other stream. Something has to be. Thought I'd give it a second chance here.
Friday night! Date night! Dinner and a movie.
Dinner was at Barbounia. The movie was The Artist.
I got yelled at by my date for playing with my phone, even though they were quite aware of this project and that my deadline was drawing nigh...
