Forgot this for 3 days but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Dyes made from local plants and animals, and used to make the colourful clothing the locals wear.

Sixpence made the condition that if she did the tufts she, could dye them before I took them out. We used 16 colors, not including the blonde or brown roots.

first step : The threaded are put in a large pot which contain the desired color , and this pot is put over intense heat

This picture was found in a Waldron Album dated 1894, they were from Ballyhaunis, Ireland and settled in Medford, Ma, USA

This should have gone AFTER the photos of the dye pot. Oh well. You know the dye has "struck" and been completely absorbed when the water is really clear. After this I let it cool down and then rinsed it off.

The level - march - 09

All of these went into the same dye (Dylon Tulip Red). They started (left to right) as yellow, pink and grey, with white socks.
