Two of the seven little hats, jackets and pants I made for the 7 dwarves. Wheww!! I never thought I would get them done.

Imagine my surprise, when I saw that my savior was a dwarf, holding a gun nearly as big as he was. Dwarves are a rare sight these days, almost as rare as...well as an elf. And of course as soon as I approached him, the hunk of junk orc bike sputtered and died on me. Dumb things cannot even keep up on maintenance for their own bike.
" Thanks for that," I told him. "The name is Aramahil."
"Bah!" the dwar snorted, turning away from me ad moving up the road, "The only good orc is a dead 'un."
I followed the fiery-bearded fellow up the road to what had probably once been a guardpost along the Shardrake Highway. He had some crates of what was some heavy weaponry.
"The name's Grim Steele."
"I thought the dwarves evacuated Corvain to their undercities?" I asked.
Gim glared at me, "Me kin did. I did not. Thar be more orcs to hunt on the surface. And I could be asking ye thesame question. I thought the elves dies off."
"Th elders did. I did not."
"Yer a funny one, boy. But only a fool would be outhere without a weapon."
"I was a blademaster. Ican still wield my blade with skill."
"So yer suicidal then?"
I chuckled, "No. My younger sister was captured by human malcontents and held for ransom. Apparently they think we are of an elven noble family. I am on my way to the northern Reahes and the city of Aleon to get her back."
I looked at Grim and saw his eye-he hd an eyepatch over the other one-light up. His beard parted in what appeared to be a smile. Quite a nasty sight, in my opinion.
"I hear the Northern Reaches are infested with orcs," he stated.
"So I've heard."
His smiled widened snd I had to close my eyes for a moment to stop from vomiting.
"Yer gonna need a guard. I'm good with most ranged weapons, but even better with the ones i craft meself. What do ye say, boy?"
Anything to get that smile off yor face, I thought.
"Why not," I said instead. "The more the merrier. It shall be nice to have company that can actually talk back."
Grim loaded some gear, a few weapons and soething he called a "Dwarven Powder Bomb", and some clean food and water he had. The Shardrake Highway called our name, a black river that snaked its way tothe Northern Reaches.
But, little did I know that our party was not yet complete.
This is an unusual antique picture that was purchased at an estate sale in the early 1970’s, and has been stored properly ever since. The picture features Disney’s Snow White with all seven dwarves – making it more appealing to collectors. Along the bottom of the picture is the name of each dwarf printed in five different languages.
Preserved between plastic and a panel of wood, there are only a few small spots of wear from the framing. The plastic has no tears, or holes, and overall the picture is in near perfect condition. The picture isn’t adhered or glued to the wood panel, which would allow you to reframe the picture (Although there is no need) or possibly take it out to inspect the back for a signature or clue to its origin. The framework and plastic preservation is high quality work that was made to last, and has.
There is literally nothing out there like this – After searching everywhere online and showing it to a few collectors and antique experts, we didn’t learn a whole lot about it. The picture could be a promotional poster from a re-release of the original 1937 cartoon. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was first re-released in 1944, in order to raise revenue for the Disney studio during the wartime period - it was again re-released to theaters in 1952, and1958.
The picture has no visible copyright markings or signatures, so it may be an unauthorized Disney reprint from the era. The craftsmanship and style of the framing, along with the color palette used leads us to believe this dates to the 1950’s or possibly early 1960’s.
If you have any additional information about the picture, or if you find any info, please pass it along and convo me. This obscure print is a collector’s dream, and in amazing condition. The picture measure 3 ½ feet long by just over 2 feet wide, and the framing is about 1” deep.
Back in 2009 i created a corridor for a Spaceship or hanger using the '1 x 4 modified plate with Angled Tubes' the problem with this design was that it would have to be a ship for Dwarves. One day I will build a Space Dwarf ship... one day..
