The Northern Dwarf Clans live in the Black Mountains on the northern border of the Empire. They rarely trade with humans and are rather disdainful of them, even occasionally making war against the Empire. They are master smiths, but rarely make beautiful things, perfering rugged but practical weapons. They are somewhat smaller in stature then their southern counterparts, and are hostile towards them. They have black and dark brown hair and beards, but with age, they're beards turn grey and white.
apparently flipping off Blag is the signal that you want to sing the next line.

These are my Dwarves. They’re stereotypical dwarves. They’re a noble race, although greedy. Their small stature hides their fierce pride and great strength, which they use to the fullest extent in battle. These particular Dwarves are members of the Order of the Steel Fist of Kolam T’Or.

Dwarves are from Eureka Miniatures 18mm fantasy range.
I paint the miniatures and usually build the terrain but this is another attempt at photographing my miniatures outside.

Castles they built there for themselves
With walls of gold; where no man dwells
And many a song in those dwarven homes,
Was played upon...their Xylophones.
