RMC1465 and an unidentified cannibalised RMC, withdrawn at Swanley garage in February 1979. RMC1465 looks virtually intact (apart from the missing flasher 'ear') but it went for scrap two years later.

Collects only Street Recycling
I'm pretty sure this photo comes from a scrapyard in Lindfield in Sussex, after seeing it mentioned in a classic car magazine as having some very old vehicles amongst its stock.
l think some of the cars seen here include an old Wolseley, two Minis (a saloon and a van), a Standard Vanguard, a Jowett (?) and the rear of a MkIII Cortina.
Some years later I revisited the location to find that the yard had been completely cleared and a housing estate had been built in its place.

These short dump trucks delivered coal for home heating. My family home heated with coal in the 1950s.
2573 and 6111 dumped by Cowlairs Signal Box on 10th July 1969. D2573 had spent most of it's life based in Anglia and would be cut up 2 months later by J McWilliams (Shettleston). D6111 had been withdrawn almost a year prior to this shot,and would be scrapped in the same month as D2573,also at J McWilliams scrapyard.

A loaded Georgetown Railroad Dump Train crossed the Brazos River on the SP's Dallas-San Antonio (Dalsa) cutoff, paralleling Texas Hwy 21 near Varisco, TX on 26 January 1990.
A load of limestone heads for the primary crusher at the Cemex owned Dove Holes Quarry. The drilling machine waits on the working bench behind.
YAY! we went camping and we got this lil baggy as a kitchen! dont ask how.. any way, when i first laid eyes on it it was like wow MY DREAM PHOTO! so pretty much she was my model for the whole day! naaah i modeled for my self a bit too :P
it looks like Scoppy Doo's car i dunno :P

Scrapyard in France circa 1945. Sturmgeschütz Ausf. G, Jagdpanzer 38 or Marder 38T Ausf. M were actually more often encountered than heavier Panzer (Panther or Tiger).

I thought these turned out cute. I wish I had put some sprinkles or something in the dirt part, but I'm still happy with them. :)
I noticed that this underground container clogs up regularly. An ideal playground for me then :)
Dumped two pieces of rainwear by the rest of the trash that was placed in front, one Rains curve jacket and a Agu rain jacket.
Jilted. I have so, so many plans for this series...! Being in my own house makes me feel so much more confident/free to try anything.

The Flickr Lounge-Commercial Transport
Saw this big truck in Trumansburg, NY on my way to the post office.
More and more Councils are charging for people to place items into recycling centres / tips. We will see more dumping and property being abandoned on the street. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the plug but even that has been left - disposable Britain ...
I just liked the way the washing machine had been neatly placed between the two pillars ... Almost as if the dumper had a conscience ...
