This was a long trail, but I'm almost at the end. There seems to have been a dump here at one time. The vines are trying to cover it up, but 'ol eagle eyes knows there's something beyound those vines!! If only I had more time and this was winter.
Got a computer I thought was a goner to boot up; dumping photos off of it just in case. Not being very selective this time. Quality may vary. ;)
In India, there are no "rich" or "poor" neighborhoods - rich and poor coexist right next to each other. This dump was bordered by a tent camp on one side, and high-tech company buildings on the other.
I only just learned what a Dump cake is and decided to try making it. It is unbelievable easy but very shameful. Everything in the recipe is out of a box or a tin. The ingredients I used:
1 tin cherry pie filling
1 tin pineapple bits
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks of butter (extra shameful)
1/4 cup chopped pecans
The beauty of the cake is that there is hardly any work involved....you literally dump everything into the dish and bake it.
My family loved it as It was really delicious. I imagine it would be a great dessert to take to a pot luck and you could probably switch the fruit filling to suit your taste. However, I don't think I'll be making it too often....it's shameful and full of calories!
