Quentin (7) took thse pictures of fill being dumped and levelled in our backyard. I think he did a great job taking these pictures. And it will be nice to have a bigger yard back there!
This set works well as a short slideshow at 1 or 2 sec intervals.
A massive 60 shot upload to keep you all occupied for the next week or so whilst I nip out and take a few more shots.
Please pace yourself, I don't want any complains of Repetative Shot Syndrome...
I'll be adding individual titles and details of what you are looking at (assuming you are bothering to look) as and when I get time. Although I'm not always sure what I'm looking at as, despite several visits to Skye over the years, this is the first time I've actually managed to see the view!
A month or two ago, JP and I were out looking for photo opps on a Sunday afternoon. He remembered seeing a sign about a scenic overlook and he said, "Hey, let's go to the dump!"
So we did! There's actually a scenic overlook at the top of the trash pile (which has been capped off, and now there's grass everywhere). There are picnic tables, those binocular thingies that you see at all the touristy places (only these are free!), and playground equipment. Who knew?!?
So when my mom was here last week, she insisted that we go so she could see it for herself.
