Hi Flickr friends!
Just letting you know that you're always in my heart even if you don't see my name in your streams. Time is so precious these days, I can't do both Flickr and work. So for this summer, I chose to dump work.haha! Just kidding. I still hope we're friends no matter what.
I REALLY MISS THE OLD TIMES. SEE YOU AROUND! *big tight hug*
Today in Vero Beach, Florida, around 600 people gathered to participate in the Free America Walkout. This nationwide protest, held on January 20, 2026, called on Americans to walk out of their jobs or classrooms at 2 p.m. local time to oppose the Trump administration's policies. The images captured during the event show a peaceful yet determined crowd united in their cause for an America Free from Fascism. Resist!

A northbound CSX auto rack train is stopped on top of the diamonds with the NS industrial line that runs between Shipps Yard and the Alstom plant adjacent to the Tennessee River in the Alton Park area of Chattanooga. A kicker had dumped the train, placing the lead unit right next to the antique searchlight signals that still guard this interlocking. NC&StL's old Cravens Yard used to be located out of scene immediately to my left.
Cliches are hard to ignore. This one was found in a dump outside Phnom Penh where children squander their childhood picking through rubbish.
Moc for a Lug's contest. The theme was city vehicles. I gave a try at 8w! Here is the result! Besides the working bucket, the main feature wich I like the most is the working rear pendular suspension.
Cheers people!
This is a dump truck cake that I made for my son's 2nd birthday. It is a yellow cake, iced in butter cream then covered in fondant.
Well, I got the chance to add in the sprinkles! :) Cake made to match the cookies. (LOL..usually it's the other way around!)
To prepare for our new art studio, we demolished old sheds and took them to the local dump..
The Marin Resource Recovery Center is an indoor dump that’s about the size of three football fields. Built in 1987, it gives Marin County residents a clean, enclosed environment to dispose of solid waste.
Each month, the Resource Recovery Center processes nearly 3,000 tons of recyclables, according to the Marin Sanitary Service. They say the center may be the most sophisticated recycling facility in the country, with visitors from around the world coming to observe its state-of-the-art system.
This was a fun experience, with bulldozers zipping by across the pit, moving the debris we just dumped into a series of screens, conveyors, blowers, magnets, and hand-sorting separates dirt, sand, metal, wood, concrete, paper, and other materials for recovery.
Overall, everything went smooth as silk, and only took about half a day for the demolition and half a day for the dump run.
It was a great feeling to finally get rid of some of these old art debris to make room for the new sheds. Truly liberating!
