Good morning, ya'll! I hope this last week of 2010 rocks for you! Not surprisingly, the overnight temperature drop into the 20's had the warmer Gulf waters steaming this morning...and the sand crunched like it was slightly frozen! Tonight it is supposed to drop into the teens...no doubt, it will be another chillin' experience at the beach sunrise...but Lord willing, I'll be there!

If anyone can explain WHY my almost 18 month old now needs to have me in a headlock before he'll sleep, and why my 3 year old didn't go to sleep until after 10pm for no good reason (although there were some ramblings about a head being on her floor!?) then please do. I can't afford to keep buying this much booze lol!

Why are some of us driven to express ourselves, and why does that drive seem all-consuming?
I am driven to express myself in an artistic manner. I was not, however, blessed with the ability to draw, paint, or sculpt.
My camera became the vehicle to allow that expression, and do it in a way that others respond to.
The only problem is that it eats up so much of my time. Between taking the images, and working on them in Photoshop, it takes a large portion of what little free time I have.
