This shot was taken in the historic Pullman District- while shooting for the neighborhood Yellow Page directories, I stumbled upon this sign, which was just aching to be photographed.

Inca Kola, the Peruvian soft drink of choice, has kept out Pepsi, Coke and its ilk for decades.
It's fluorescent yellow and tastes like bubble gum.
Harold (father, R.) brings some soft drinks out from the pub for Michael (brother) and friend Chris Kaufman (behind).
Photo taken during a walking trip across the North York Moors during an Easter holiday. Not sure of the year but Michael looks about 10-11 yrs old, so perhaps around 1956-57. I was not on this trip and have not yet been able to identify the place. I've searched the internet for a pub of this name in the North York Moors area but so far without success. Perhaps it shut down or changed its name.
If anyone knows, or knew, this pub, please write a comment or contact us via FlickrMail.
PS Thanks to the suggestion in the comment from GNSYPETE below, I have worked out that this pub is now a private house: 30A Church Street, Castleton, North Yorkshire.

I saw this idea on Internet and decided to make my own one from recycled engine parts.
Sweet Horatio! He's made sure Mr. Orange Moose and Dora the Fish have a nice drink. Yes, he tries to drink out of the water bowl with the toys in there :)
Paige has been discovering the wonders of sauces and flavorings. A little ketchup on an french fry - score? Well, score for the ketchup since the fry turns into a dipping stick.
Mom got some ranch dressing for her salad the other day at Outback. On the salad was a crouton, which Paige enjoyed by herself. Then it found a little ranch dressing. The crouton quickly turned into a piece of dipping bread. Eventually the crouton just turned to mush and the bowl of ranch dressing was the focus. Here Paige has just about finished "drinking" the ranch.
My friend Amy and I burst out laughing when we saw this display of Feckin Irish Whiskey at Yankee Spirits. We're both Father Ted fans so we instantly whipped out our cameras. Haven't actually bought or tried the stuff yet, but surely it's better than Toilet Duck. ;)
