you can lead a dog to water, but...

This is a real product. I swear. From the website:

"All the Cruzin Cooler needs is a designated driver. When the party is quite a ways from the parking lot, don't struggle with the cooler-drive it! Cruzin Cooler turns a large cooler into a motorized scooter, complete with power steering, disc brakes, and foot pedals. It's the easy way to transport food and drinks at sporting events or to the neighborhood barbecue. It maneuvers easily, clipping along up to 12-15 miles per hour. Cruzin Cooler has a 24-can capacity (with ice)."

Not included: functioning alcoholic.

This is my drink.

Sweet tea.

I love chocolate milk.

This was for my photo project regarding the Parkeharrison's (Check out some of their work it's pretty cool, though for some reason I cannot find the image "drinking tree" that I was imitating you'll get the gist of the work they do.)

This is shot with natural lighting, I used branches and flowers to assemble the "tree" atop her head, though I always put a fashion type twist to everything.

Enjoy!

I originaly uploaded this as a "mystery photo" in the style of the "guess where" groups. I didn't get any takers, so maybe I was right that Bristol is too sensible for that sort of thing. Or maybe I should have started a discussion thread.

A related detail.

This was taken the day after our day trip to Weston with TCV. I'd been around Bristol with knautia, Bingo Little and TCV and when we got to the Cumberland Basin they headed straight back to Southville. I walked down the gorge a bit, up the zig-zag (!) and home across the Downs.

See where this picture was taken. [?]

They don't mix. Someone I love very deeply, who is like my daughter was in this crash.

The May 8, 2014 launch of the Drink Up campaign at the Fairmount Water Works, dedicated to promoting drinking water for Philadelphia children. Philadelphia Water partnered with The Food Trust, Partnership for a Healthy America, with guests from HYPE, the 76ers, Mural Arts of Philadelphia, and Wat-aah to encourage Philadelphia students to drink up!

Reusable water bottles: they last all day and they're good for the environment.

My Mom and and my brother's girlfriend, Melanie, made this drink one afternoon. If I remember correctly, the top layer is grand marnier, middle is blue curacao and the bottom layer is grenadine. We nominated my brother to drink it. He said it was disgusting. Looks really pretty though.

Monday Mug: Week 2

Life: Drink it In.

I thought about that a lot this week. Who knows if I'll still be able to hike and bike in 20 years? I know I can do those things now, though, and my odds in 20 years will be greatly improved by what I do today. So I plan to stay active and keep challenging myself. At the very least, the view is terrific.

For a few days this week, my wife and I stayed at Mt Rainier. We mostly relaxed and did a few short hikes together. This photo, however, is from early Monday morning when I hoofed it up the slopes solo. (She wanted to sleep in.) Later that day I rode the bike down to Box Canyon and part-way back up. Sunday night I did a down-and-up bike ride and felt particularly energized by the uphill. (My mountain-climbing is getting stronger.) Then Tuesday afternoon I pedaled out of the Paradise Visitor Center and rode all the way down the mountain and out of the national park as fast as I could (safely) go on the fog- and drizzle-dampened roads. It was terrific! It made me start thinking about riding ALL the way up next time.

And why not? You have to drink it in!

Result of tonight's painting class at Knockart studio (Vianen). Painting from imagination. Inspired by paintings by Franz Marc and imagination process about one animal.

The xylospots have definitely fallen off. ;-)
