Essa foi a unha mais votada por vcs pelo Flickr e Twitter. As duas opções, drinks de Montilla e Milk shake de frutas, estavam empatadas, mas essa acabou ganhando com apenas 1 voto de diferença, já que no Twitter votaram mais nela.

I put a drinking glass into a small water-filled aquarium. Then, with a syringe, I let some drops of light blue ink fall into the water, right above the drinking glass. It diffused slowly, creating all these delicate shapes.
It gave me a hard time to take some photos in the right time and angles, because, as usual, I had not prepared the tripod and everything thoroughly...
and I didn't have enough light, so there's too much noise in the picture.
I'd be glad to see what someone else could achieve with this recipe!

We keep having late spring snow storms.
This common redpoll was "drinking" snow. Our small pond is open but rather than drink water he seemed to prefer the snow.

Redpolls have throat pouches for temporarily storing seeds. They may fill their pouches with seeds quickly then fly away to swallow the seeds in a more protected, warmer spot.

my entry for the February "Drinks" category in the Light Paint Competitions group. discovered that glow stick fluid doesn't mix well, so placed the stuff on top of thick, flourescent tempura paint. the flowers were illuminated with glow stick fluid, but also lightly dipped in the tempura paint and subtly lit by black light. the blue background is just cotton fabric lit with a blue LED light. 56 second exposure, SOOC except crop
