I've got no home. No friends. No family. Only me. The war began years back, for reasons no one remembers. The tattered remains of the fighting armies still wage war in the ruins, locked in perpetual combat. Humanity is now reduced to a pale shadow of it's former self, forced to scavenge a living from the remains of civilization. And so I go on, surviving, hoping that maybe one day we can find a way out of this mess.
I've been wanting to get around to building Apoc for a while now, and this is the result. Comments and critique are always appreciated!

The weather front christened by media ‘the beast from the East’ left us with our first real snow for several years, very picturesque, but damn cold. Now the strong wind is blowing it into drifts
These are the actual colors of the recently painted Cape May Linen Outlet building, captured in the direct line of a bright, and just completed sunset. Fiery!
photo inspiration ... I'm a big Clint Eastwood fan, and driving by a place I normally wouldn't notice (a linen outlet?), these colors reminded me of the scene from his starring role and directorial debut in the classic film High Plains Drifter (1973), where he had the cowardly townsfolk paint the entire town red.
Inspiration is everywhere.
2112 AD
At long last The LEGO Group tracked down and captured the final CEO of mega-bloks. Imprisoning him in a glass enclosure and welding it to an old garbage hauler, LEGO effectively neutralized their last competition. Mr. Blokhead now drifts through space, at the whims of the bored and careless pilot.
Well, here's my submission to SHIPtember! Built in about 12 hours today, it's my first SHIP and measures 108 studs long.

This build started with the azure wheel hubs, paired them with the grey wheels, then the red treads. I was going for a real 70's - early 80's sci-fi vibe with this one.

Leaving the River Clyde for Sea
With her full crew out on deck , the sail training vessel 'Swan' makes good pace , using her engine , down the Firth of Clyde as part of the departing 'Parade of Sail' Tall Ship Fleet from Greenock in 2011.

She spent the first 50 years of her life as one of the hardest-working Fifie Longliner & Herring Boats out of Lerwick before being retired in the 1950's. She seemed to disappear off the radar before being found being used as a Houseboat in Hartlepool in 1982.
Taken-in-Hand by The Swan Trust to be extensively restored to a seaworthy condition to take the voyage north back to her old home port of Lerwick and re-launched in 1996 with much local interest as a Sail Training Ship. Once again she would take to the high seas to visit ports in Iceland , Faroe Islands & Norway.
Today she is a regular on the International Tall Ships scene and probably one of the oldest in the fleet
