A former KOA Kamp building at the abandoned former tourist trap of Two Guns, Arizona, a place of Apache massacres in death caves, drifters, gila monster bites, calamitous fires, a strange zoo, a movie star owner, and general misfortune. But sure, let's camp and have a swim. I illuminated the heavily tagged building with a handheld ProtoMachines LED2 light painting device during the exposure as the stars and the nearly full moon drifted across the night sky. This was photographed during a 10-day 2559-mile night photography road trip, meeting up with Mike Cooper, Tim Little, and George Loo.

The weather front christened by media ‘the beast from the East’ left us with our first real snow for several years, very picturesque, but damn cold. Now the strong wind is blowing it into drifts
These are the actual colors of the recently painted Cape May Linen Outlet building, captured in the direct line of a bright, and just completed sunset. Fiery!
photo inspiration ... I'm a big Clint Eastwood fan, and driving by a place I normally wouldn't notice (a linen outlet?), these colors reminded me of the scene from his starring role and directorial debut in the classic film High Plains Drifter (1973), where he had the cowardly townsfolk paint the entire town red.
Inspiration is everywhere.
2112 AD
At long last The LEGO Group tracked down and captured the final CEO of mega-bloks. Imprisoning him in a glass enclosure and welding it to an old garbage hauler, LEGO effectively neutralized their last competition. Mr. Blokhead now drifts through space, at the whims of the bored and careless pilot.
Well, here's my submission to SHIPtember! Built in about 12 hours today, it's my first SHIP and measures 108 studs long.
