field music - music for drifters
Caught this one, just barely, out of the corner of my eye, while on a little nature hike the other day.
Way too quickly composed with the completely wrong lens and settings.......
One from the archives. Straight from the camera. Camera mounted outside and a flash was fired inside via cybersyncs.\ for the reflection.
LEGO Batman Series
Part 2/10
Hello people! The second entry of my Batman series is out. This scene depicts a group of drop heads robbing a store similar to what happened in The Batman. Bruce Wayne stands by and watches in his drifter outfit waiting for his chance to take them down.
I hope you enjoy!
Oh, help me in my weakness
I heard the drifter say
As they carried him from the court room
And were taking him away
Well, my trip hasn't been a pleasant one
And my time it isn't long
And I still do not know
What is was that I've done wrong...

Old market across from the court house in downtown Eureka, California still has a nice old neon sign...Rusty from the salt air but still standing...
Boulder, CO
This man was sitting on the edge of the courthouse with his sign. I gave him a few bucks in exchange for a photo. He introduced himself as The Highland Drifter and asked if I was a student of photography. I told him 'pretty much'. His advice to me was to take the lens cap off.
'Doh
Taken in the beautiful Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. A landscape that just feels so magical and different than anything I'd seen before.
I've been feeling like a drifter again lately, never touching down for longer than a few days. Living in and out of backpacks and temporary homes, it's exciting and draining and everything in between.
Not sure of the exact names of these two peaks just south of Mammoth, but they and other's made for some nice images in the early morning sunlight. : )
