The tide had just turned, and the creek was starting to flow outward below the footbridge. Looking down, I saw a single bit of seaweed drifting with the flowing, grayish water and took several shots. Back in the darkroom---Ahem! Lightroom---I began processing, intensifying color, blacks and shadows, increasing contrast and saturation, dehazing, removing noise, then, Oh! sharpening. Then some dark vignetting followed by more of everything else. It doesn't look like it did when I shot it, but at least the seaweed is recognizable. How else, after all, could you be sure it was really a photograph? Happy Sliders Sunday!

We are about to get very wet......soaked as a matter of fact! Simply incredible how fast the weather changes in the mountains. We watched it gather in strength for a few minutes and then headed back in. Impressive display of lightening, thunder and of course, lots of rain!
