hk big dream..its the best way to use those nearly empty cans..

A dream thousands yearn for but only a few lucky ones achieve, so every time you see what you have achieved hold on to it tight and pat yourself for all the hard work you did for it.

Dedicated to all BITSians.

Here she is, hot off the mail truck (literally! Temperatures here are in the 90s today!) She's way prettier than I expected.

Only as high as I reach can I grow,

Only as far as I seek can I go,

Only as deep as I look can I see,

Only as much as I dream can I be.

Our Manhattan leather bed is the ultimate in luxurious comfort and style and made exclusively for Dreams. The softly curving scroll head and footboard design evoke a traditional style while the sumptuous leather with a faux leather back panel create an opulent, luxurious feel. Practicality is accounted for too, with the two large storage drawers built into the base of the bed that allows to you make the most of your bedroom space.

My dream is becoming her dream. She asks to go the beach several times a week to photograph the sunset. She has taken over my second camera body and totes it around, asking a million questions about light and focus.

This image also illustrates a dream for me. 15 years ago this week, my camera loving daughter came into our lives, fulfilling one of my greatest dreams. : )

I always lust after this house when walking past.

This romantic necklace is made in shades of turquoise with lovely waxed linen, gemstones and handmade beads.

The dream heart bead and skeleton key bead are made by me. I antiqued them to give them an old, worn and romantic feel.

The gemstone beads are variscite, labradorite, and african turquoise.

All the beads are knotted in place on the brown waxed linen cording.

The toggle clasp is an antiqued faux bone button made by me.

The necklace measures 24"

I like this bedroom setup, very nice and clean. Look at the curtons, side table lamps etc., they all look very cute.

Wonderfull day on Île-de-Batz

In my dreams I'd have the real guitars, not wooden models, and the guy who plays them :)

'59 Gibson Les Paul, Gibson EDS-1275 double neck, Fender "Dragon" Telecaster and, of course, Jimmy Page to serenade me.

Seoul’s fourth largest park is Dream Forest, built at the site of a former amusement park, Dreamland, in Seoul’s northern Gangbuk-gu district. This very attractive park has a wide range of facilities including fountains and water play areas for children, a free observation tower, a botanic garden, a deer garden, a kids library and a concert hall. Also within the park is an ancestral shrine built for Princess Bokwon, made up of beautiful old Korean hanok style buildings, behind which is a bamboo forest path. All of which make this a perfect destination for the summer.

Teens ages 14 to 17 have an exclusive club aboard the Disney Dream with Vibe. Outside, teens have a private deck area – a modern space where they can enjoy fun in the sun without ever leaving the teen club. There are plenty of mod chairs and chaise lounges for sunbathing, two wading pools, fountains, pop jets and misters for cooling off. (Diana Zalucky, photographer)

and NO ! you are in Laval at the public garden "la Perrine" that is the reality.........

There is no madness more delirious than dreaming...

~J. Allan Hobson, Professor of Psychiatry, Emeritus, Harvard Medical School.

Dreaming is madness of the mind. The mind, which behaves cohesively during our wakeful hours, throws caution to the wind when asleep and dreams. While dreaming, areas of the brain related to wakeful cognition and consciousness, like the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (decision making), the sensorimotor cortex (conceptualization), and the primary visual cortex (visual cue processing), are completely shut off. Instead, Parieto-Occipito-Temporal junction of the brain, an area that converts perceptions into abstract thoughts, mental imagery and memories, is turned on. Cut-off from primary sensory inputs during sleep, reality in the brain is re-painted during a dream; this time by an artist who is eccentric and psychotic. Think about any of your dreams and you will know what I am talking about.

Yet, this is only the beginning of ‘complications’. The subjective experience during the process of dreaming is as real as our wakeful reality. While dreaming, no one remembers they are not awake and the experience is responded to as if it is all ‘real’. Our dreams, despite being bizarre, make us smile, sweat, cry, hurt, panic, and get angry or aroused in a normal way. Thus, one could say that dreams are a complete state of consciousness in their own right.

Wait a minute! This moment I am absolutely conscious that I'm chasing a beautiful mermaid (who looks just about like you) on a purple beach of free flowing strawberry jelly where cheese sea-lions are singing ‘good morning beautiful, how was your night’ in a chorus; and the next moment, I am conscious that it is 6 AM, time to get up and make some strawberry jelly sandwiches for breakfast and get on with the day. How are these two states of consciousness valid in each other’s context? Although I felt similarly engaged with both, are they really the same ‘consciousness’? Perhaps not.

If not, my dear, how do I know, what I am subjectively experiencing right now in the dimple of your beautiful smile and the twinkle of those deep playful gorgeous eyes, is not just another dream?

HO HO HOPE ...

Although our resident Captain hangs out with, acts as escort, and sometimes socializes with many of the Blythe Fifth Avenue Modeling Troupe girls ...

His TRUE HEART is with HOPE ... "the one that got away" he says ...

Last night, in a Christmas Eve dream ... She appeared ...

and he took the opportunity during their upset sleigh ride (which represents an upset life, as anyone who studies Dream Analysis knows ... and snow representing unexpressed emotions, of course) ...

to propose to her, and declare his undying LOVE ...

She said to him ...

"Although I may not be able to accept your proposal, as I live in another Land now, my dear beloved Captain ... just know ... that I will ALWAYS be with you ... you will always have HOPE <3"

And then he awoke ...

Some of my Superstar dolls will spend their summer in the Dream Cottage. :)

This is part of the 'What They Dream of?' set. Please view all 12 photos for context.

These 12 photos were taken Saturday morning Aug. 20th 2011 between 5:50 AM and 9 AM In the Washington D.C. and Great Falls Va. area. Locations just 20 miles apart.

The juxtapose between the rich and poor was entirely unplanned. I set out early Saturday morning to shoot Street in Washington D.C and the sleeping homeless people was what I found. Upon returning home a friend was headed out to an exotic car meet up and asked if I wanted to go.
