Our Daily Challenge 7-13 November : Seen From Behind.

I have recently found a brilliantly hard-working and intelligent young man to do some occasional gardening for me.

I now cannot manage heavy digging to uproot shrubs etc, and he is the solution

He comes to do specific projects, and at the moment we are restoring my neglected rose garden. He has done the digging, I will do the planting!

This is his rather splendid hair from behind.

My beautiful sister got married on October 3...and we had a fabulous time! Here are some pics of my "hair do". A big thanks to Laura at The Chair in Minneapolis for fixing up my crazy dreads! :)

You can see pics of my sweet little flower girl too :)

Happy Frisky Friday! This elk's velvet shed has produced a dreadlock by each of his eyes. I am sure he will be glad when they fall off.

That's me, some time ago. This picture was taken by my sister, Naomi (Amma Kwaakoa), with her camera. I'm a little pale here because of the winter. Luckely I got my my beautiful dark color back in the early summer ; )

Old picture, new processing.

Dreaded young guy at Custom House Square practices his skating skillz.

The Fallow deer bucks are losing the velvet from their antlers. While on some it has completely gone, others had shreds remaining which really seemed to irritate them. This one was doing a lot of tossing of grass and even trying to scratch it's head with a hind leg, to get rid of the remaining shreds and the flies they attract.

I'm starting to think that there may be more dudes per capita with dreadlocks in NYC than in any other U.S. city.

An 18 year growth of dreadlocks - awesome!
