This is my 2nd ever portrait drawing.

I have just finished reading, 'Hang a Thousand Trees with Ribbons', by Ann Rinaldi, about Phillis Wheatley, the first woman black poet to get published.

This was my interpretation of her. Although, it probably looks more like a man, no? oh well, practice, practice, practice, right Misty!! smile.

I have to work on the eye thing and the nose thing. Especially the eyes, they give me trouble.

been bored lately T.T i (horribly) traced some designs from mind wave letter sets and colored with color pencil (so hard!) . i wish i really had these stationeries lol
