Photographs from the first annual Double Duty Classic at US Cellular Field July 7, 2008. The game and panel forum was a tribute to the East and West All Star teams from the Negro Leagues. High school players from throughout the Midwest were invited to participate. Included in attendance were Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sharon Robinson (Jackie's daughter), Hall of Famer Frank Robinson, White Sox GM Ken Williams and many former Negro League players.
After taking down camp we set out on a pretty strenuous hike through the Devil’s Garden Trail. We passed by Landscape Arch, took a little scenic detour – aka got lost – and finally found our way to our target: Double O. Anyways, hiking is about the journey not the destination.
Tomorrow I’ll put up the infamous Delicate Arch and the tribulations suffered to achieve it.

A double exposure of two seprate images of me. I like having the timber pole in the foreground and background and the effect on my hand in the bottom right, think the print went a bit funny on my left face though. Still I was young and learning the ropes.

I spotted this specimen growing in my mailbox garden on Independence Day. It was planted by a bird or squirrel who found the seed in my bird feeders.

I tried making a version of this wallpaper using lighter colours but I couldn’t make up my mind about which colour would go best. So I decided to go with the dark colour version of it (as usual…). For some reason I just love dark wallpapers.

I got these markers from Orinda5.etsy.com. I plan on using the double loop markers with my Crazy Toes and Heels socks. The natural and black markers are single loops and the yellow and purple are double loops.
As I was idly lying in bed, I investigated the double-exposure app on my iPhone … an interesting result.

A photo about midnight upon arrival at the Hotel Danieli. This is the main room of our double lagoon view room. There is a dressing room and a marble bathroom as well, with a hallway connecting them. Two of the three ceiling height windows open to balconies over the lagoon. (Sorry for my poor GIMP editing skills.)
