My newly acquired Weston Master light meter was unfortunately not a lot of use due to:
a) How do you work the little bugger???
b) feeling like a right twat standing there pointing it at stuff as all the cool kids went by on their skateboards....

At last some sunshine and less windy weather has enabled this white begonia with very dark leaves to be planted out with others in pots for the summer.
The Double-crested Cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus) is a member of the cormorant family of seabirds. It occurs along inland waterways as well as in coastal areas and is widely distributed across North America. Once threatened by use of DDT, the numbers of this bird have increased markedly in recent years.
The E-PL5 implementation of this is fun. After your first shot you get an almost live view of what the combined exposure will look like.
Here's something kind of cool. It's a custom enclosure for a customer's double Mutron. He wants to put each pickup through a separate Mutron. Which is cool. At one point in the 70's I seem to remember Bootsy had three Mutrons going on the three pickups in his Star bass.
Anyway, I've had this enclosure for several days, but we've been having thunderstorms every day and I have that five-foot-long copper grounding stake in the tent, which is kind of a recipe for getting struck by lightning.
It seemed like it was going to be clear today, but we actually DID end up having another thunderstorm. It's raining right now. This place is so strange, I guess because we're so close to the water. I looked out the back door and saw rain POURING down in the guy's yard across my back fence. Took 2-3 minutes for the rain to reach my yard.
Luckily, I was done with this enclosure and that 2-3 minutes gave me enough time to shut everything down, bring the enclosure inside (it was still pretty hot...had to use an oven mitt) and zip up the tent.
So here it is; the custom enclosure for a double Mutron.
Off to the left behind it you can see four Vactrols for the build.

3rd Day and 2nd year - a 2nd shoot is coming out of the ground 3/4" up, there is a little red sap bruising on top like blood as its namesake (the sap even seems to “coagulate” to seal the wound)
