A husband and wife came in last Sat saying they both intended to get new vehicles. It wasn't the first time I heard that, but it was the first time it happened!

His is the 2012 F-350 Lariat 6.2L Crew Cab with 8ft box, Sync, power rear-window, and more in sterling gray metallic.
They look good together don't they?
When I delivered them yesterday, I didn't get done until about 9pm. How's that for customer service? :)

The council, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that we need 10m of double yellow lines around the corner of each junction around here. This is going to make trying to park outside my own flat even more of a hellish pain in the backside than before.
I'm sure that them introducing this has nothing to do with the derestriction of parking fines such that they keep all the money they collect from them.

The double-crested cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus) is a member of the cormorant family of seabirds. It occurs along inland waterways as well as in coastal areas, and is widely distributed across North America, from the Aleutian Islands in Alaska down to Florida and Mexico. Measuring 70–90 cm (28–35 in) in length, it is an all-black bird which gains a small double crest of black and white feathers in breeding season. It has a bare patch of orange-yellow facial skin. Here's something kind of cool. It's a custom enclosure for a customer's double Mutron. He wants to put each pickup through a separate Mutron. Which is cool. At one point in the 70's I seem to remember Bootsy had three Mutrons going on the three pickups in his Star bass.
Anyway, I've had this enclosure for several days, but we've been having thunderstorms every day and I have that five-foot-long copper grounding stake in the tent, which is kind of a recipe for getting struck by lightning.
It seemed like it was going to be clear today, but we actually DID end up having another thunderstorm. It's raining right now. This place is so strange, I guess because we're so close to the water. I looked out the back door and saw rain POURING down in the guy's yard across my back fence. Took 2-3 minutes for the rain to reach my yard.
Luckily, I was done with this enclosure and that 2-3 minutes gave me enough time to shut everything down, bring the enclosure inside (it was still pretty hot...had to use an oven mitt) and zip up the tent.
So here it is; the custom enclosure for a double Mutron.
Off to the left behind it you can see four Vactrols for the build.
