A crazy flash storm had just passed, and this double rainbow came out for about 3 minutes then it vanished. Magical
Never being so close to a double rainbow before. I estimate this was just about 150 metres away. (Sheep's Head, Bantry, IE. Saturday, 17 Nov 2012) Wish you good luck!
After taking down camp we set out on a pretty strenuous hike through the Devil’s Garden Trail. We passed by Landscape Arch, took a little scenic detour – aka got lost – and finally found our way to our target: Double O. Anyways, hiking is about the journey not the destination.
Tomorrow I’ll put up the infamous Delicate Arch and the tribulations suffered to achieve it.

I spotted this specimen growing in my mailbox garden on Independence Day. It was planted by a bird or squirrel who found the seed in my bird feeders.
An interesting feature of this barn was single sliding doors on each side of the residential entry door.

I tried making a version of this wallpaper using lighter colours but I couldn’t make up my mind about which colour would go best. So I decided to go with the dark colour version of it (as usual…). For some reason I just love dark wallpapers.

These cormorants were keeping an eye on the sky just like the puffins were, given the presence of a bald eagle that might be interested in eating one. What was in fact flying over them, I believe, a common murre, another citizen of Duck Rock.

I got these markers from Orinda5.etsy.com. I plan on using the double loop markers with my Crazy Toes and Heels socks. The natural and black markers are single loops and the yellow and purple are double loops.
