It's taken me four years to get a decent photo of Kyla doing the double pawed ear wash. I'm so glad I finally managed it as it's really cute.
I have seen several great photos of the double rainbow (this is not one of them). It is one of the most beautiful sites that I have ever witnessed.
I bought this frail looking plant from a well known superstore. It grew into a 6ft + tall plant with lovely flowers, it's a perennial and that is all I know about it. I would love to know it's name, any ideas?

Carbon, shown in blue, has four bonding points. In the top image there is a bond between the two carbons and the remaining points are taken by hydrogen, shown in purple. In the bottom image, carbon still has 4 bonding points, but two are taken by the double bond between the two carbons. This leaves only 2 remaining points to bond hydrogen.

Well, it's not a double rainbow in this shot, but it was noteworthy because there was another rainbow in the sky at the same time, next to the sun! This one was almost directly above me, and seemed to be upside-down.
We have had a day of very dramatic skies too.
I know pictures never really capture how cool these things look in reality, but I thought these would make good desktop wallpapers.
I think these are my favorite daffodils because they have double blooms, sometimes even three blooms to a stalk. Plus, their colors are so eyecatching.
This is a Double-crested Cormorant. They don't have hollow bones like most traditional birds do so It takes them longer to take off. I always thought they looked cool flying so close to the water. I was out testing my new Canon ef 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM. I need a better tripod and perhaps a gimbal head as well. I see myself getting a tripod and maybe a small stool to sit on and simply wait for the birds to do something interesting.
