So, turns out, I ran across this old roll of black and white film that I hadn't seen in many months, and the film leader was out, so I thought, "Hmmm, I'll take some black and whites! It's been a while!" Well, I just got the pictures back from the store, and it turns out that I had already taken pictures through that roll. Whoops. So every shot in here is a double exposure. Can you make out who's who or what's what? ;-)
Oh, and apparently, fireworks make really fun crazy accents to regular pictures...haha
So for another Uni project I am looking into Double Exposures both Digital and Film so this is just to start me off as a Test
Adventures double polarization (?) through the giant window at the Time Warner Center in New York City.
The effect obviously isn't desirable, but this one was neat.
The double-headed eagle is a common symbol in heraldry and vexillology. It is most commonly associated with the Byzantine Empire and the Holy Roman Empire. In Byzantine heraldry, the heads represent the dual sovereignty of the Emperor (secular and religious) and/or dominance of the Byzantine Emperors over both East and West. In the Holy Roman Empire's heraldry, it represented the Church and the State. Several Eastern European nations adopted it from the Byzantines and continue to use it as their national symbol to this day, the most prominent being Russia. However, the design was in use in the East for centuries before it was officially adopted by the Byzantines, and was independently adopted as the symbol of several other historical states, such as early medieval Armenia and the Seljuk Sultanate of Rûm or even similarly met as the Berunda bird in South Indian historical states (Vijayanagara Empire).

I was extremely bored and as I was looking through pictures I took at SXSW, I noticed that all my crowd shots had far too much sky. I decided to go a little crazy and do a fake inverted double exposure. I only messed with the color to remove the pale blue hue.
I'm not proud of it, but its been a while since I've uploaded, so here you go.

I have had photos stolen on the internet and claimed by others as their own work so I have now chosen to protect my images with a copyright symbol in the center. I regret the necessity of this action however, regardless of the aesthetics, the subject is not open to discussion and I will delete any comments on it. Thank you for your understanding.

The council, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that we need 10m of double yellow lines around the corner of each junction around here. This is going to make trying to park outside my own flat even more of a hellish pain in the backside than before.
I'm sure that them introducing this has nothing to do with the derestriction of parking fines such that they keep all the money they collect from them.
