My first project made on my "new" (to me) Pfaff 1471 (I quickly followed it up with a swimsuit).
I used two houndstooth cotton yardages, and I don't remember where the fabrics came from. I think they were both gifts, people de-stashing. The buttons were cut off a wool coat I bought at a thrift store.
The gangly Double-crested Cormorant is a prehistoric-looking, matte-black fishing bird with yellow-orange facial skin. Though they look like a combination of a goose and a loon, they are relatives of frigatebirds and boobies and are a common sight around fresh and salt water across North America—perhaps attracting the most attention when they stand on docks, rocky islands, and channel markers, their wings spread out to dry. These solid, heavy-boned birds are experts at diving to catch small fish.
This picture has actually come out of making a mistake, you can tell by the double pull of the screen print but as Bob Ross said “We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents.” So with that in mind i decided to carry on with the picture and see what would come out. As the picture involves a man drinking and due to the happy little accident there are two of him i decided that seeing double was a good way to go with this one. The trouble was that’s where the muse left me, and i had to try and figure this one out myself. To cut a long story short i couldn’t and had to resort to searching google for inspiration. Then out of nowhere i come across the quote by Anaïs Nin “We don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are.” and hey presto! It just seemed to fit the piece perfectly and there i was with my happy little accident resolved
Cheers

I recently bought a bottle of Double Cola and I figured I'd give the Kodak first shot at it before I drank it. Double Cola has been around for a long time, but I have never tried it before. This will be my first one.

We had a brief line of thunderstorms blow through here after dinner tonight leaving this amazing double rainbow in it's wake.

This is a collaboration betwen my boyfriend (noug4t) and I. I went to my job alone and put the film in my minolta, I took pics of stuff on my way...when the film was finished I gave it to him, he then put it in his leica and took pics over mine. So those 5 pics are from that film.
On this one I took the flowers, and he took the floor (and my arm).
