Making this was fun! For ages I've wanted to see a Renaissance/Venice Masquerade/Commedia Dell'Arte-styled Harley Quinn...here's an attempt at it. ^_^ The trickiest part was deciding what she should be holding...I eventually decided on the champagne, because ever since she met her Mr. J, life's been a non-stop party! :^D I wish this dollmaker had men, too, because then I'd make a whole deck of Gotham characters. :^)

To celebrate the upcoming release of our new BJD in Origen line, Bambú, we are pleased to present the first creative contest at Sephie Doll Shop:
HELIANTH & BAMBÚ CONTEST
It's time to search the talent you all have! In this contest you can test your creativity and get a Helianth or Bambú exclusively for your doll collection among other prizes.
Here is the summary of the contest:
- Theme: picture or illustration, made with any technique, containing elements that identify with Sephie Doll Shop (Helianth, Bambú, bunnies, etc.)
- Deadline: 1st March 2015 (23:59 GMT + 1).
- JPG image format (RGB color), minimum 800 px at its lower side dimension, and 5 MB maximum.
- Voting for the Second Prize from the 2nd March 2015 until 8th March 2015 (18.00 GMT + 1).
- Publication of the Winners: before 12th March 2015
- Prizes: 1st Prize: Full BJD (Helianth or Bambú, at winner’s choice); 2nd prize: Doll head (Bambú or Helianth at the winner's choice); 3rd prize: € 35 worth in Sephie Doll Shop.

[New work 2024] @art_by_charles_ This illustration shows a few magical inhabitants of The Whispering Woodling Woods belonging to the first story 'Gemma's Dream Wish'. NB On the far right is Primrose, a hedgehog faerie. One of the many mixed animal and faerie/pixie species of the Woodling Woods. It all started thirty years (!) ago with this hedgehog faerie, in 1994.
Materials: ballpoint sketch drawing and watercolor on paper, then edited and colored with Photoshop watercolor pencil/brush.

It's taking me longer to prime this munchkin than I had originally hoped, because of some issues I've had with primers... I started off using a previously unopened can of Vallejo that I must have had since 2013, which was just fine. When it ran low, I went online to buy more, only to find that there didn't seem to be a single can in stock anywhere in the UK! In the end, I opted to buy some via Amazon, to be shipped from Italy. It arrived quickly and all seemed well - it sprayed on nicely and all. However, when I set about sanding it (I use wet sandpaper), the colour of the primer started to take on a green tinge?! I can't work out if Vallejo have changed the formula, or whether the can I bought may have been adversely affected somehow? - By heat, or something, perhaps?! I've since ordered another can, this time from Poland, but it hasn't arrived yet >_< I'm also going to pick up some Tamiya primer this week as well, just in case. I haven't worked with Tamiya before, only because its toxicity scares me... so I've also ordered what I hope is a reliable respirator!! Gah, I really want to just get her done and away!!!

Hi everyone !!! 😁 As an alcoholic, I fell into creative binge........I don't remember what a date and a day of the week, I don't want to sleep, I eat sometimes..... How interesting to work with 3d printer. A lot of ideas come to mine. So I want to realize everything, but not as easy as it seems🤔 For example, to print a pair of shoes I need 6-7 h then sanding them 6 hours and so on....
