It's taking me longer to prime this munchkin than I had originally hoped, because of some issues I've had with primers... I started off using a previously unopened can of Vallejo that I must have had since 2013, which was just fine. When it ran low, I went online to buy more, only to find that there didn't seem to be a single can in stock anywhere in the UK! In the end, I opted to buy some via Amazon, to be shipped from Italy. It arrived quickly and all seemed well - it sprayed on nicely and all. However, when I set about sanding it (I use wet sandpaper), the colour of the primer started to take on a green tinge?! I can't work out if Vallejo have changed the formula, or whether the can I bought may have been adversely affected somehow? - By heat, or something, perhaps?! I've since ordered another can, this time from Poland, but it hasn't arrived yet >_< I'm also going to pick up some Tamiya primer this week as well, just in case. I haven't worked with Tamiya before, only because its toxicity scares me... so I've also ordered what I hope is a reliable respirator!! Gah, I really want to just get her done and away!!!

Hi everyone !!! 😁 As an alcoholic, I fell into creative binge........I don't remember what a date and a day of the week, I don't want to sleep, I eat sometimes..... How interesting to work with 3d printer. A lot of ideas come to mine. So I want to realize everything, but not as easy as it seems🤔 For example, to print a pair of shoes I need 6-7 h then sanding them 6 hours and so on....

This is a digital quick photo of Evangeline in colour, in a custom made, one of a kind Christmas dress.....several people have asked about her. This is a re-paint done by professional dollmaker Lisa Mills, my sister in law. Evangeline is 18" tall and has several outfits and black gothic wigs. Easier to work with and photograph than a tiny 11" Barbie, and believe me, I've tried. I will put up a better photo in a few days. (I think the dress came from Russia...incredible doll clothes makers there... I've bought some outfits from there...)

Aurora is a 16 inch, third generation Inamorata art doll with an athletic body inspired by ballet dancers. It was wonderful to finally explore the new realistic posing possibilities of this new body type.
Aurora features the Shani head sculpt, Latte resin tone and large bust type Inamorata 3.0 body. She has two wigs in wheat blond mohair: a ballet chignon and a side parted long hair flowing free. The outfit is something I quickly stitched together for the photoshoot from an old T-shirt, trying to portray the comfortable training clothes ballerinas wear during their grueling hours of hard work.
My favourite photos ended up being, not the elegant dance poses, but the ones about human frailty, a ballerina sitting slumped down and tired, massaging her aching feet.

If tagged, simply do the same and style some newbies! You can do any newbies you want (from 2010-2011), and as many as you'd like of course :)

I think I did pretty nicely on most of them, but a few are kind of "eh" (Ashby) :P
I tried to make them match their personalities (minus Adri... She just looks good in bright colors!)

This isn't the most easy to coordinate piece of clothing, but at least it's funny. :) I'm not very fond of the boots though, since I already have one pair of all black boots.
