Beautiful resin art doll by the extremely talented dollmaker Anna Pushkina
The sculpt is outstanding,very elegant, gentle muscle tone and good proportions. Her facial expressions seem to change with each tilt of her head. Good quality heavy resin. The joints well engineered and she holds her poses well. Her wig is perfect, not too full, and the colours complement her skintone.

Aurora is a 16 inch, third generation Inamorata art doll with an athletic body inspired by ballet dancers. It was wonderful to finally explore the new realistic posing possibilities of this new body type.
Aurora features the Shani head sculpt, Latte resin tone and large bust type Inamorata 3.0 body. She has two wigs in wheat blond mohair: a ballet chignon and a side parted long hair flowing free. The outfit is something I quickly stitched together for the photoshoot from an old T-shirt, trying to portray the comfortable training clothes ballerinas wear during their grueling hours of hard work.
My favourite photos ended up being, not the elegant dance poses, but the ones about human frailty, a ballerina sitting slumped down and tired, massaging her aching feet.
*The doll is not for sale.
Well, *that* was easy. :^P The pearls represent her being a thief...and the ears are connected to her diadem. They are. Trust me. As for the fur collar, well, the outfit needed something more than just being a black jumpsuit...is it too much? Yes-no?
I wonder who that little gray and blue bird might represent...hmmmmmmmm....

I received first resin Lurruyung. Dragon was tamed! This colour is grey (the same as the master model, but more "deep"). I think, will available two others colours: "milk white" and "light grey". I will issue pre-order a week (two) later, because I'm going on vacations the day after tomorrow.

Lovely BJD baby dolls :-) I finished the sad face for Yan <3 I'm working on the most difficult characters yawning and crying faces.
I actually painted Nataana back in 2021. She was displayed at the Hitogata Ten art doll exhibition in Tokyo in 20221 and I had her in my own collection until I sold her when moving from Japan to Germany. I was just looking for something on my Flickr archives when I noticed that I had never uploaded photos of her.
Nataana is a third generation Inamorata Nsia in Chocolate resin. The dress, shoes, necklace and titian wigs are by me (but don't you think she looks most beautiful bald?) and the divine divan by Julia Gartung.
'Jan McLean is a doll-maker from Dunedin in New Zealand. She is regarded as one of the world's top dollmakers. McLean's first dolls, "Chloe" and "Phoebe" were created in 1987. By 1991, she was exhibiting at the New York Toy Fair, where her doll "Pansy" won a Dolls Award for Excellence.
Many of McLean's dolls are limited edition dolls made of porcelain, but in recent years she has expanded to produce more affordable dolls in vinyl. These - the Lollipop Girls - are smaller versions of the porcelain originals and are intended as being "upmarket competition for Barbie".' (Wikipedia)

Following an anonymous lead that was tipped to me this afternoon, I arrive at an abandoned building on the outskirts of Gotham. Turning into a shadow and "slipping" (the term I use for turning into, well, a shadow) through one of the vents in the roof.
I land on the floor, spreading my cape to stop my fall.
"PLEASE! HELP ME!"
I spin around and greet a man cuffed and chained to an operating table. Behind me is a bench full of surgical tools. Deciding to focus on the matter at hand, I turn once again to uncuff the man on the table. After doing so, I help him up to a sitting position.
"Th...thank you...so much."
I realise he's pretty shaken up.
"Are you alright? Who was holding you here?"
I retract my staff while I look around, trying to find any clues as to who did this.
I spot something in the corner of the room. I can't make it out yet.
"I'm...alright. He didn't do anything. Just t...talked about how h...he was going t...to...hunt a bird?"
I lean over and take off the cuffs holding his hands together.
"What else did he say?"
"I...I think he s...said...a Robin? And he s...said his name was Mathis? Bar...Barton Mathis?."
Dollmaker.
It's extremely rare that you see a case where one of his "patients" don't become victims. In this case, it seems like he didn't actually want to torture/kill this man, but instead, it seems like he wanted to leave some sort of message.
"Was there anything else?"
"I...I don't think so."
Seems like it was just a message. Gathering nothing, I decide to take the investigation elsewhere.
"We're going to a hospital now, alright? It's going to be ok."
He gets up to walk, shaken to the core.
"Tha...Thank you."
I look over into the corner of the room again, this time just able to make out a figure. It's humanoid in shape.
Then it hits me.
It's a doll of me.
