……Nothing special but just playing around with DoF in the bright morning sunshine with my new iPhone as it streamed into the hall here. My, how they have come on since conception - enjoying getting to know it. Alan:-)…….

From earlier this spring, when there was sun and stuff.

Haven't seen that in a while.

While the relentless scorching hot weather continues heating the continental part of our world, practically forcing people to stay indoors and engage in their favourite activities such as Flickr, naturally, I've been browsing through the photos taken during my vacation and found that one I took in the shade of my island garden. Oh how refreshing!

To all my Flickr friends a fabulous weekend wherever you may be! Just take care and be sure to chill in the shade ! :)

This capture was taken at the end of an exciting day through the Vinales Valley.

Well worth the 2 hour taxi drive to this spectacular region in Cuba.

Started with the DOF idea. Shot in Portrait mode. Chose a Look and white vignette in Snapseed and Voila!

Miss Julia Bell and Miss Madelin Virginia Brown for Lily Wiggler.

Once again the lens (Nikkor 18-105) is not mine, but it belongs to Max... but, you know, I had to make a couple of shots before being sure to buy it! :D

Seed Pods,on a Pink Dog Wood Bush.

Pentacon 50/1.8 lens adapted on an Olympus E-PL1. The lens is producing a very pleasant bokeh. You can get it as a bargain.

Given the large number of flowers on this bush, when I looked through the viewfinder, I could not believe that the only flower in focus was this one. I just had to wait for a hummer to get close enough for a shot. I did not have to wait long.
