With such beautiful scenery in Italy the macro lens has had peace and quiet, but this yellow burst did need its photo taking!
Thanks for the view, faves and comments
It's lupin time again in UK gardens. This flower however is also grown commercially by farmers as a rotation crop. It has deep tap roots and is useful for aerating soils. The seeds are used commercially for both animal and human food-stuffs and the oil is also used for cosmetics.
Or that’s what that far lichen reminds me of. Couldn’t get the focus any sharper as it was a bit of a miserable day.
Thanks for stopping
I never tire of seeing these colorful visitors in my garden!
They are pretty noisy and usually perch in a tree and screetch out if I haven't left them any seed in my feeders!! :-)
Another good thing is that they aren't easily spooked, so they allow me to approach relatively close - great for getting close ups!!
Hope you like this image of it perched on my Grevillea plant!
Thanks for any comments, views or favorites - much appreciated!!
Wishing you a wonderful day and week everyone!
I spotted this Bellbird (aka Bell Miner) whilst out shooting images with fellow flickr tog Joe Micallef yesterday at the Hunter Wetlands (Shortland, NSW; Australia).
The Wetlands isn't living up to its name at present........ most of the dams around the location are completely dry!!
Hopefully we'll get some decent rainfall soon to refill the dams!
Thanks for any comments, views or favorites - always much appreciated!
Wishing you a wonderful day and weekend!
