Given the large number of flowers on this bush, when I looked through the viewfinder, I could not believe that the only flower in focus was this one. I just had to wait for a hummer to get close enough for a shot. I did not have to wait long.

The Spotted Doves like to gather in small groups waiting their turn to feed at the bird feeder.
There really is a "pecking order" - it's interesting watching which birds get to go first at the fresh seed.

I was on the roof the other day looking through my view finder at all and sundry when this rusty metal pipe which acts as a conduit for powerlines coming in caught my eye.. it was actually the green behind that made it more interesting!!! I liked the starkness of the rusty pipe against the shades of green in the background.
i feel like i haven't uploaded anything new.
i did this while studying for math.
gah. everyone i know said that they failed the math test.
ohmahgosh.
i still need to study.

In my front garden, using my Sigma 70-300mm macro DG handheld at full zoom. The DOF is small when you're handholding it!
DOF bench in the park, meet some good friends and talkative is good relax:)
