Doe in some decent light

They came in early on this cold day

I think this one is part of the group that was hanging out here all summer eating my yard up. Glad to see a couple of them survived the hunting season and the cars and trucks out on the road! This was taken well after sunset and I think the snow helped the camera out a lot! I just read where they are expecting a more severe weather pattern for the next month or more so maybe ... just maybe we will keep some snow! :D Better get out today and buy more birdseed!

A nice whitetail doe took a drink and then crossed the creek....

Roe Doe. One of the advantages of a silent shutter , she never heard a thing , 350 images later with her and her two kids and she still was completely unaware of me sitting in the field some 40 metres away. An enjoyable early start at sunrise .

The deer on the trails at Troy Nature Center are innocently tame. This yearling doe casually approached in my direction, to a still-green field of high grass at the edge of the maple forest. She came to within 35 feet from me; 20 feet, 15, 10 feet. She stopped to nibble at the grass and leafy plants, looking up at me occasionally, posing for a picture.

Earlier a young buck walked to within 20 feet of us, stopped to study us, then ambled off into the woods.

Doe's in the Ferns, Richmond park.

not the best image however I liked the way this doe shows what is known as the 'browse line'.....although conditions are rarely harsh in our area, deer if over populated and starving will feed off foliage and twigs on trees creating a browse line that is very distinct in wooded areas....

a cold, rainy day in Donegal, yesterday.

well away from the crowds

I tend to take more and better pictures when my hands are warm and dry!

An inquisitive roe doe in a field at the summit of Aggs Hill in Gloucestershire. This is the same animal that I uploaded a few shots of last week.

Doe with her fawn out grazing in an open field

Fur still damp from a recent rain, this young lady is alert but very happy with her spot in the grass.

A rather pretty Fallow Doe watching us from behind the ferns in the woods at Dunham Park

It is so unexpectedly amazing to have the opportunity to capture wildlife closeup and personal... a family of deer were grazing off the foot path and allowed me the grace to capture...

A Doe has been visiting my neighbors Apple tree for the past few days. I call her “Jane”.

I snapped a few quick frames. This one I wanted her to stand out so I did the unthinkable. Selective color. 😱

I don’t use it often so hopefully I don’t get blasted for it. ‍♂️
