This is one of the elements of the orignial bug barn that I'm not entirely comfortable with. It is a really negative presentation of insects, and mostly for gross out value :(

Found this bird yesterday but only had the macro lens. Luckily it was there again today for a documentation shot.

Disclaimer: The photo albums in this Flickr account are not intended to be collections of my best hand-picked images. Such images are included but the vast majority of images, 4800 and counting, commingled amongst the few gallery-worthy images, are snapshots, bad shots and missed shots (the bad shots containing some element of the composition that strikes my fancy despite its flaws thus saving it from the Recycle Bin and the missed shots being those photos where the exposure and/or DoF were not completely appropriate). There is trip documentation and there are pure experiments (including multiple treatments of the same scene such as different angles, different post processing, different times of day, sunrise/sunset progressions, zoom progressions, etc.). This account is basically a secondary backup location with convenient captioning, titling & EXIF capabilities.

PROJECT 2/7

Nothing fancy about this shot, other than documentation of the latest round of ore to Escanaba.

We were impressed by the beautiful sight of our full beer closet.

Uploaded from my iPhone. The song is too quiet to hear through my computer audio -- may have to use phone, headphones, or a speaker. North Lake Park, Utah County, Utah. April 3, 2021

I just can't let go of these 1988 World Book Encyclopedias. We bought them for our children and they used them all the way through middle and high school. They've been bypassed by technology, but I still find myself referring to them occasionally.

Awkward pose, total weaksauce.

Oh well.

Didn't do much today, had a headache and stomach ache.

p.s. oh hai camp rock pillow case. that's embarrassing.

Here is the company's logo laser cut from 1/4" maple plywood. I just did this today! I've worked tons with the laser but never using vector graphics before. You have to use vectors to cut. There are four of them total (plus on extra in case anything gets screwed up). It's for the tradeshow booth we are producing for Telltale Games to take to PAX in Seattle.

To do this i used the laser at Techshop in Menlo Park.

I´m doing some research for a school project (about making local- RFID based applications and services). These pictures are from looking at elements and objects found between the public and private domain. More at www.gubo.wordpress.com.
